As first found by TechRaptor, Mistborn: Birthright Facebook page got a new post from the CEO of Little Orbit, Matthew Scott. It announces that the game – sadly – is not going to happen.
The developers thanked the community and Brandon Sanderson, the author of the book series Mistborn. The post goes into great details of how the game’s story shaped and why ultimately it will not see the light of the day.
In the end, I am deeply saddened we couldn’t get this made, but rather than continue to hold onto the rights, I’d like to see someone else make the amazing Mistborn game we would all love to play.

That’s a shame. I really enjoyed the books & was looking forward to the game. The article says Little Orbit nearly went bankrupt. I hope all the people there come out ok financially.
