Trion has sent word that Atlas Reactor will be getting a huge patch later today. It’s a big one that brings a lot of new features into the game as well as a new Freelancer!
Atlas Reactor servers down for awhile, but big stuff incoming
Servers will be coming down later this morning to bring the patch online. Players can expect to be able to play by 9:00 am PST.
The patch contains a number of new things including missions and challenges, skins, icons and a pair of new game modes.
- Supportal Kombat challenges players by assigning them a random Freelancer. All damage is, however, buffed 50% and healing power ups are replaced with might boosts.
- Reactor Roulette begins April 11 assigns a random game mode from this season’s play.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Tol-Ren, the Robo-Ronin is a new Freelancer entering the game. He is a melee fighter who “cuts down his foes with devastating precision”.
