Hang up them spurs, pardner. Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t be moseyin’ up to your console before Spring 2018.
Red Dead devs soothe the savage fans with…screens!
The announcement was made by Rockstar earlier today, though no reason for the delay was included. The most fans got was the usual “extra time is necessary to make sure we can deliver the best experience for our fans”.
To soothe the feelings of disappointed fans around the world, Rockstar has released a number of new screenshots. The screens feature NPCs and locations as varied as prairies, towns and railroad bridges. It kind of makes you want to go watch Tombstone for the umpteenth time!
The game was originally announced last fall and scheduled for a late 2017 release. However, since that time, little else has been heard either from Rockstar or its public relations team.
We’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime, you may want to check out Wild West Online, a western-themed MMO slated for a fall 2017 release.
