Jam City and Peanuts Worldwide are celebrating today’s launch of Snoopy Pop, a bubble shooter that stars Snoopy, of course! In addition to Snoopy, players will also find other Peanuts characters created by Charles M. Schulz.

The game has been created with artists and animators from Peanuts Worldwide working closely with Jam City. It is a free download for both iOS and Android mobile devices.

Features include:

  • a fun variety of challenging puzzles
  • levels, characters, worlds and events added regularly
  • collections
  • power ups themed around Peanuts including things like “Charlie Brown’s kite”
  • Snoopy and all his alter-egos such as The Flying Ace and Masked Marvel
  • events themed around classic stories and holiday TV specials
  • all designed to capture the “Peanuts” spirit
  • original music from Peanuts holiday specials

As part of today’s celebration, Jam City is making a $100,000 contribution to Canine Companions for Independence. The charity partners assistance dogs with those in need including children, adults and veterans. Others benefiting from Canine Companions include adults who are deaf and the professionals who work with people with disabilities.

This is just the type of interactive experience that we love, that bridges Peanuts into this new digital age,” said Roz Nowicki, Executive Vice President of Peanuts Worldwide.  “We are also thrilled that Jam City is supporting Canine Companions for Independence, a charity near and dear to the hearts of both Charles and Jeannie Schulz. The demand for highly trained assistance dogs is ongoing and growing and this will help CCI bring additional dogs to those in need.

“Supporting Canine Companions for Independence has a special place in my heart, and this Snoopy Pop collaboration is a fun way to do just that,” said Jean Schulz, National Board Member and Chair Emeritus of Canine Companions for Independence and wife of Charles M. Schulz.
