Playwood Projects sent out a word about their tabletop inspired strategy game. Wartile will give players a chance to lead armies of figures across battle boards as well as engage in fights. The game will show a wide variety of environments such as Norwegian mountains, murky swamps, English coastlines, dark dungeons and more. It is launching on Steam Early Access on Marth 17th.

What does Wartile bring to the table?

The game offers singleplayer as well as multiplayer modes. Players will need to learn all strengths and weaknesses of their Viking figurines. Otherwise, without a solid strong strategy, only defeat awaits.

Michael Rud Jakobsen, Founder and Creative Director of Playwood Project, noted:

We created Wartile to be a living, breathing tabletop video game that invites the player into a beautifully rendered miniature universe full of small adventures and challenges that require real time strategical decisions

Players’ figurines are fully customizeable. There is a choice of armor, weapon as well as pick stat tokens through special challenges.

Players can also take advantage of Ability and Godly cards to turn the tide of battle in your favor.
