If you are true to your work about helping out everyone, I am very interested in your guild. I am a very active player, but I just dont know much about EQ2. I have purchased the whole game now, and I will be able to play tomorrow evening. I am willing to play whatever is really needed, be it a DD or a Tank. I dont really want to play any type of support class though. So just let me know, and by tomorrow night, ill be playing and buiding my toon to benefit the guild :) From what I have read, there is a lack of guardians in the game. If this is the case, I am willing to play one. |

Hi jhall229, Glad you think BFL has the potential of a guild that you seek. Yes, we are helpful with everyone, in my opinion, but to what extent is the question. Our guild tradition is to help each other along, but it is unrealistic to be everything to everyone or to do everything for everybody all the time. There is a balance that we seek. The more we grow, then hopefully those people pick up our traditions and help those of us who were before, to help everyone who comes after. While I have been currently mentoring, crafting gear for people, handling guild business and all that; I'd say 90% of my time is devoted to helping people. But I pay for my account just like everyone else and would like to advance my character as well. Sometimes that means I am unavailable. Sometimes that means I follow the posted guild events more strictly. So, I need help with the helping and many have stepped up to do so. Myself and other members of BFL do not exist solely for the whim of others, I just want to make that clear. It tends to be a misconception if people seeking help lean toward extremes. We do however group together often, help each other with quests, share gear and spells usually at little or no charge at all. As far as what character class you'd like to choose, my advice has always been, play what you truly want to play, there will be a fit somewhere. At this time we are not paying close attention to the class, we are interested in the people behind the screen to make friendships with. Please visit our website and register and mention your post here so I know who you are if you decide to proceed. Thanks! |

By help, all I mean is answering questions. I NEVER completely rely on people for anything more than that. I will check out the site some more, and we will be in contact :) Game is installing now..I went ahead and purchased entire retail version. |

I am looking into buying the all in one pack for EQ2 sometime next week. I am very interested in joining up with a guild. If you could, please tell me what you think of the over all population of the server you are on, and if I will be able to easily find groups weather with strangers, or with people within the guild, if I am accepted. Thank you very much for your time and input! |

Hi! It is great to see more interest in EQ2 as well as our guild. We are on the Everfrost server which was merged with the Grobb server and while I do not know the numbers, your chances of grouping all depends on the ebb and flow of who is where and when. With the latest expansion, high level characters have been dusted off and are all over the place in Kunark. I do not know the state of the Sarnak starting city, but I would guess that place is fairly busy as well with new characters trying out the new race and area. But, most classes can solo if they must (though some solo better than others of course) so choose what you really would like to play. In the end, you'll be happiest if you go by your personal preferences as far as race, class and starting location are concerned. As far as our guild is concerned, currently we have events on Monday and Thursday evenings, but also get together and help each other on the fly as well. I should reinforce the fact that we are smaller and casual, but for some that fits just right with their playstyle and they enjoy growing with a guild like that. Even so, we do mentor each other, send each other items we find that others can use and help where possible on some of the harder quests. If interested, please drop by and visit us at... http://bloodforgedlegacy.guildportal.com If you do decide to start up in EverQuest 2, I'd like to be the first to welcome you to such an outstanding game. All the best to you!

Thank you very much for all the info! As far as me getting into the game, I will be purchasing it this Thursday and look forward to getting into the game!
I will be looking over your guilds webpage, and hopefully once I get things installed and patched I can join up and get right in. I do like the casual style you have with the guild only cause I work full time, and goto college so I know what its like not to be able to play hours on end every night like I would like to. |
