Like others said, there are plenty of games for your playstyle, go check them out.

 

Eve is first of all a niche game, and second of all it is NOTHING like pre-CU SWG, thirdly the DEVs there do not have the "SOE" attitude, taking all that together,  it is therefore not a substitute for people who enjoyed pre-CU; thus, the OP is being misleading.

This is for sci-fi game for pre-Trammel UO players; it is not for SWG players.

Oh, and there are no games that even resemble pre-Cu SWG, so there are none to check out. This game will not be one either, which is my point.

I also don't think it will be very successful, especially if they have your attitude. Watch and see.

You made good points.

I REALLY REALLY hope there are social "class" aspect to it. There is nothing more satisfying to me than when I was a Master Pikeman / Master Musician wanderer. But I am appalled that most developers think social classes are a waste of time and not worth the risk of resources to include them. Attention to detail are the kind of things that make diehard fans like us SWG fallouts.
