Great, you figured out how the pvp system works after level 10, but did you figure in that once in a guild you can take over keeps in world RvR? did you ever see a standard bearer drop down his flag? did you ever take part in killing a keep lord?

it seems extremely shallow at first, but you have to open your eyes a bit and see everything. Of course your going to figure out what pvp is like, but you dont even know all of the extra features that are put in for higher levels.

It's hard to find the right balance. You give players similarites to end-game immediately, and they may get bored and think there's nothing new ahead. You give players a PvE quest grind to get to the end-game, and they'll complain that they have to level up to experience the fun.

The thing is, the latter is more successful, in my opinion, because while some players will complain, everyone is working towards the same goals, and it gives you something different to play for and look forward to later on. WAR just doesn't have the same hook as other games, imo. Not really a whole lot to look forward to.

If you are as hardcore as you say with pvp then there is a ton of stuff to do But oh well WAR isnt ment for everyone, to each his own i gess.

Level 19, RR 15 and in a guild. I've had multiple 'decent' PvP sessions, this one just stood out. But you raised a good point, is there truly a ton of stuff to do, really?

I like the game, but I can't bring myself to play it anymore, just feels so much like familiar territory, like I've done this all before, somehow hard to explain, but I can see a lot of posters here that feel the same.

Nevermind what haters say, ignore them ''til they fade away.

Kinda glad i seen this post, because i'm feeling the same, bought my CE, didn't get sucked into the hype like other's, just wanted to try something new.  Lotta fun at first then i started noticing things that bug me---but i do this to all games heh---anyways, lots of things i enjoyed, would love to keep doing PQ's but not enough around to do them.  So here i sit at lvl 12 trying to get some PQ's finished and i just can't find anyone around (i'm on Phoenix Throne)...meh i'm just blabbing now but honestly i havn't had the urge at all to log into WAR for the last 2 days, even today i probably won't.

One thing I am really missing is the zone or General chat. Not that I am a "chatty cathy" (tm) . But I do like to joke around. Sorry class clown here....

At 1st this game was ok was enjoying it but nothing great but once i got past lvl 13 and joined a guild things started to pick up. Having a great time attacking keeps  and defending them  when we have one. its great to pour boiling oil down on a bunch of destruction players trying to smash the keep door in. I also like that the fact you will never know what you might find around the corner in this game like for example i've found  a hiddden lair that you have to figure out the puzzle before you can unlock the door so you can get in to the hero boss. There is so much to find and do in this game its not just about the pvp.

What skill, Titan level V? That won't even take that long. Plus 95% of corps don't care when you started if you can fill a role and have some decent experience in gameplay.

I got bored of WAR after about a week! looked good in theory but in execution was poor at best imo.

I REALLY REALLY enjoyed RvR, but having to wait a couple hours to get into a scenerio kind of sucks. I'm a grouping person, I really loathe soloing... I know it's a necessary evil sometimes, but I like to have options.

Queue times for scenarios have dramatically improved on my server now that you can join all of them from any zone within your Tier. I can just do scenarios now if I want for the first time since I bought the game, getting in to one every 30 seconds or so.

The problem for me is similar to yours with the lack of people on lower pop servers and the long queue times to get in a higher pop server. It's a no-win situation. Either I play in zones that feel ridiculously barren or I have to wait an hour+ to even play. I think if they fixed one of those issues, I would be having a lot more fun.

I was thrilled about playing a true RvR-game but I don't have any fun. It's hard to explain. No gear grind, I don't have to p
