WAR (Warhammer Online)

I'm not joking, but when I was in closed beta, my original intent was to make a Knight of the Burning Sun. And my alt would be a hammerer. I currently tried alost every class to level 11 and I haven't found what I'm looking for.

I want an ORDER tank class but the swordmaster and ironbreaker just don't cut it. (I love the chosen but refuse to go destruction)

I also want MELEE DPS but the Maurader is the only choice from both sides. White lion isn't truely melee DPS, it is half because of its pet.

I don't know what to do.

They are working on putting in the others or mabey something else, but as to when is anyones guess.

So, why don't you think the ironbreaker cuts it?  I play destruction and they always seemed solid against us in pvp.  Tough to kill, good caster interrupts, great for keeping robe wearers more worried about survival than damaging your guys.  Seems to me, as a zealot, that they do their job well.

I'd like to see the removed classes also.

Empire's glaring loss of a tank from an Order perspective is quite devastating.  The closest thing they have to a tank is the healer

And Destruction players are more than happy to beat up that "tank."

So there is no release date for the new(cut ) classes?

How about a release period, can we expect them before Xmas?

      It sounded like alot of people were disappointed when they cut out the "choppa".......Also its a pretty sad state when 20 other classes still isnt enough......

 Some of the classes (perhaps all) will be put in in the next expansion (they do after all have to give you a reason to buy it) however they haven't mentioned when the expansion will be out. Most likely in a year or 2 if its anything like other MMO's

Last I heard, there was no promise that these classes would ever be delivered. It has always been a "maybe someday."

I certainly have no intent on waiting around for "maybe someday." The immediate solution for the population imbalance is to give Order a totally normal human tank that appeals to almost everyone, and another 'flavor' class with the Hammerer, which would of course be another sorely needed melee DPS.

Cutting some of the bread & butter classes on one side of an RVR-based game is going to go down as one of the major mistakes in this genre. It won't be nearly as dramatic a failure as AoC or Vanguard but I just can't imagine what they were thinking giving Order only elves or dwarves for tanks.

Oh, and you have proof of this?  For all we know they could release the new classes tomorrow.  Mark has said several times they would have the new classes in as soon as possible.  I hardly doubt they will wait until the expansion.  If anything they will wait until the subs drop off drastically to pull people back in.
