You "ROFL"ed at this statement but its 100% true. Perhaps you should actually play warhammer and see that this isnt the wow style solo pvp, that most wow fans are use to. Its team based strategy, and its quite complicated. Especially when your on Order and outnumberd most of the time. People come into warhammer afte a few years of wow, and almost no other mmo experience, they probably where pretty good at pvp on their "best class" wow character. They jump into war on what they percieve is the best pvp class, the get steamrolled non stop, they complain that the other side is overpowerd and warhammer is flawed. I hate to say it like this, but its not the game that has the problem here its the player, unable to adapt to a social based team strategy, instead siticking with their wow style solo pvp god strategy. It just wont work in warhammer.. i say...adapt or leave. |

What a joke. WAR doesn't deliver and it's the fault of ... Wow players. ROFL. I mean ROFL. How about the stuttering and clunky PvP animation or the lack of RvR possibilities because of too small servers for the game tier system; Perhaps first look into these things before talking nonsens of some "grand tactical" RvR nonsense. People want to play in MMORPG's because they LIKE to play with their avatar and progress their character. JUST like in RL. In WAR you are that little ugly unpainted TT miniature that was always set aside the first time you had casualties in the TT game. Dying for the fatherland and RvR honor ... yeah. Good for some 2 weeks of headbashing and then what ??? The emptiness of War strikes back and it's the fault of 10 million Wow players. ... best joke I ever heard.

Mr V makes a valid point. When I get a game, I do not loo to make the game play the way I want to play. I look at the game, look how it's played, and adjust how I play accordingly, and typically enjoy the heck out of them. I don't take a screwdriver, try to hammer in a nail, then proclaim loudly the screwdriver is made wrong. Everytime there's a comparison post about WoW and WAR, it seems to be exactly that. WoW is a Solo based PvE game that changes gears in the end for raids/arena. (not to mention now trying to tack on more variety, again at the end game. That in itself is a flaw, but I won't harp on it right now.) WAR is a RvR game with a similar interface, that tries to teach you to play differently, as a group, slowly but surely, from the beginning so you are ready for the more complex mechanisms at the top level. You can take a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink. The decision is his. You can show someone WAR, but it is up to them to try and look at it as "This is not the same game before, how do I play it" Not "This is a clone of X game, why doesn't it play like it" then getting blindsided by those who went route one. Where does the fault lay when someone tries to play WAR as some other game. The game, or the user? |

Even if WAR doesn't succeed straight away, it's possible it could become a cult hit and grow like EVE online has |
