"Your honeyburst rainbow hits Kitteh for 18 friendship points"

I am not much of a reader myself,

but one day while i was trying to preoccupy some time I went to a Barnes & Nobles and stumbled upon a book called Everything Bad is Good For You by Steven Johnson

The first few pages, and the back of the book were littered with positive reviews from popular newspapers and book critics. So I decided to go out on a limb and actually READ a book.

This book covers the positive effect technology has had on society, which has long been shadowed by the negative effects. And I found myself fascinated by what was really going on behind the scenes in our mind when we are simply running around shooting people in FPS's or trying to advance in a game like Zelda.

The emphasis is on the underlying nutritional value we gain from even the worst of games.  The book also covers how telvision effects us, but all-in-all it is explaining how the complexity in which we have grown accustomed to via technology has actually made us more intelligent in a different way than complex books could.

I would say that everyone should at least check it out, even if their not a gamer, it will help them understand why gamers do what they do.

Order Name - Farrakan Fiore

I'd rather hate you for everything you are
Than ever love you for something you are not
I'd rather you hate me for everything I am
Than have you love me for something that I can't.
