In the eurogamer preview it says it will be an open pvp game.

So everyone will just camp the quest givers, and everytime you try to read a quest, you will be ganked. Doesn't sound like much fun.

well ghoul they will have a pve and a pvp server  hopefully they have a proper rule set  for the pvp

i know the beginning zone will be no open pvp for the pvp server

Nice to see the doom and gloom trolls who have obviously played the game more than the rest of us dont stop at DF.

Wait till the game releases?  EVE is open PVP will full loot consequences (or at least all of your loot gets destroyed along with your ship)  and this does not happen.  Are there gate camps in certain areas?  of course.  Are there mechanics to detect them, avoid them, and play the game however you want..also yes.

I know you like to bash every game, and I a DF fanboi so sorry no defense on this one, but good lord go outside or read a book.

EVE is not fully open PVP. There are safe areas.

You think that everyone that doesn't worship a game they never played before as a GOD is a troll. Thats just sad.

I think they are only refering to a ffa PvP server they played on, this game will have the option to go on servers like that, but the main servers will be PvE with PvP zones.

Personally I will be going on the FFA PvP servers, I doubt that they allow for you to kill quest givers when the only way to level is by completing quests.

Just as sad as people who bash a game they have never played .

Wait until you played it, there are ways around this that they might have used. Or just roll on a PvE server.

We will know soon enough anyways.

And camping questgivers are common in every game that have PvP servers.
