If we could see an envelope Icon on the character login screen (just like the in-game mail icon), it would alert us to the fact that we need to log in to that toon to check mail. A red envelope might be used to indicate that mail is within 1 day of being expired or kicked back to sender (this would be useful both on login screen and in-game) |

Or, rather than having the developers spend valuable time coding that, you could, perhaps, just log into all your characters once per week. Then, you wouldn't have to worry that old mail (15 days) is going to get kicked back. How long could it possibly take to log into a maximum of 5 characters? Other than Auction House mail containing your cash (or unsold merchandise) what kind of mail are you worried that you are going to miss? |

Not so much worried about how its being done now. I currently DO log in and check each of the 5 characters' mail. This forum is for suggested improvements. Placing a mail icon on the login would not be difficult, and YES it would make it more convenient to see which toons have mail and need to be logged in to. I generally play one toon for a long stretch and then switch to another if I become bored. Why would I want to log onto all 5 just to check mail if I could see they had none at a glance? |
