I''m a toad - but at least I can be noble |
No becuase of the pay to play feature. I mean shell out 50 bucks and then a weekly/monthly whatever fee as well?! If your going to go fee based then the base install needs to be like 15 bucks - not 50 -.
The way you have to watch the same at first cool intros each time you start the game wears on a person. Though the opening video - is by far the best part of the whole game! The lag issues make the game unplayable. The frequent dumps to login screen, or desktop don't help either. If your interested play it kinda cool -(if you can put up with the lag, the login dumps, etc) but not the 8.64 rating - I'ld say more like 6.5 - 7. |

It applies to all sorts of services, your normal phonelines, your cell phones, your cable, your internet, and various other typical household services. The bottom line is that due to the extremely high cost of server hosting and bandwidth, along with personnel and data center maintenance/management, if they didn't charge a monthly fee, there would be a huge negative income flow, meaning they had less funds for developers, for instance, as well as less $ for quality servers and high end network feeds and gear. This is evident in any f2p game out there, the quality of the product reflects their negative income stream. Even fps games in most cases outsource those hosting costs to home users (the players put up servers, or places like gamespy and such community portals tend to, to attract customers). Can't afford to pay monthly? There's nothing wrong with that, everyone has different priorities. Here's a tip: if you can't afford it, don't do it. Otherwise.. well look at what is happening to your economy precisely because of that on a large scale :p |

So - let me see if I have this correct when gameworkshop logo is splashed shamelessly - hit escape to by pass - er nope don't work for me guess I don't know what the escape key is
Ok - so lets try it on the Mythic splash - er nope - still have to put up with the 2 -3 seconds of logo.
Yes I know the video can be skipped - but again thats the best part so why pass that?
Er and nothing but lag - going to altdorf hurts. Actually more like a 6 to 6.5 now

Just canceled my account today, played for about 2 months, lvl 40 WP did the instances through the city ones, RR41, Got sick of how T4 RvR worked was just a bunch of instace crap most of the time and thats how city sieges pretty much work also so I could careless. Its not a bad game, just the end game was no where near what was promised. |

I agree there isnt enough to do in tier4 atm but thats as much to do with people not bothering to organise themselves or there not being enough players to achieve whats needed to enjoy end game that is there atm. I see some guilds of 20-30 players expecting that they can solo take opposite sides city. I see see solo players expecting others to do the organisation for them and turn up solo to enjoy the benefits. I do agree with your sentiment that there isnt enough to a keep siege if it is possible for a small group to take them at nigh and a decently hard / challenging figh is only to be had if numbers turn up on both sides and they happen to be troughly equal numbers / skill levels.
