I think for the graphics we get performance should be better. But that said the game runs well enough. |

I have an 8800gt card 3 gigs Ram and I have all kinds of issues. Mounting and dismounting can cause problems like my character floating ih the air or walking through rocks and hillsides. SCENARIOS: There is a terrible delay when my BW tries to use spells. some spells like my knockback hardly ever work in scenarios. I see other players fighting on their horses even though they have dismounted. I have fallen through walls occasionally. It really feels like a Beta game to me atm. |

I've been playing since beta and have had minimal problems with lag and only a few ctd, easily counted on one hand :) Got an amd dual core 5200+, 3gb ram and was running an 8600gt. With this setup it was smooth and lag free for the most part. My card went out and I've since had to resort to my onboard 6150 and believe it or not it is still playable. I'm not into keep seiges or anything yet, but even in scenarios I have little problems. It is a bit laggy but nothing that prevents me from doing well in scenarios most times. I didn't think it'd run it but it does so not everyone is having these problems. I hope they fix the issues some of you are having but some of they may be the player's pc not the client. Good luck |

Update your graphics drivers, and all of your problems will be solved. Unless of course you have a computer that doesn't meet the specs. |

Ok, you represent the type of poster that got me banned before for speaking of my problems in WAR. Look, finally has like more than 30 posters come forth telling about all the performance Bullshit they have to put up with in WAR and all you can say is that our rigs are outdated and graphics drivers screwed. Take a break. These issues need to be talked about!

This has nothing to do with having an outdated "rig."
You should try it, it solved my lag problems 110%. |

You should try it, it solved my lag problems 110%. Relying on Microsoft Update for the latest graphics drivers, now you really are talking about lag, LOL. You are correct though, it has nothing to do with having an outdated rig & apart from people that don't know how to keep their system software up to date, it has nothing to do with that either. It is very common in recently launched games for performance issues to be a bit of a hardware lottery. The reasons for this are fairly obvious as developers rarely have enough time before launch to allow for all combinations. Mythic even acknowledge this in the text accompanying several user settings. e.g. "Use this slider to match the memory of your graphics card, but if it doesn't work use the default setting" "Use this button to enable graphics texture optimisation, but if it doesn't work turn it off" Neither of the above instructions sound very confident & if the only issues were with outdated drivers then why have Mythic acknowledged the problem & promised a 'Mythical Performance Patch' in December? If your computer improved after just running Microsoft Update then I am very happy for you, but since most of us run it several times a week, it isn't exactly a helpful suggestion. It's a bit like someone with 20/20 vision telling people that need glasses to eat more carrots. |

| If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"? |
