Well, OK, so I jumped the gun a bit on the title (7:30 PM here), but soon the server's 24 hour DT will start and we'll all get some new and rebalanced toys to play with when it comes back up.

So the question is...  What are you training for the patch downtime?

My alt's still got 25 days left on Gallente Freighter V so that's not an issue.  My main is training Small Hybrid Turret V, since even though I've been playing a year and a half I still can't shoot straight.

Main: Caldari Battleship V (only 39 days left!)

Alt: Minmatar Cruiser V (27 days left)

Large Pulse Laser Specialization 4.
On both accounts :)

I'm going to ride the wave of stupidity, shortest skill on my accounts is 3 days. Wooohaaah adrenaline rush!

Minmatar Cruiser V which will be followed by Caldari Cruiser V which will allow me to fly every ship up to BC's including T2 in the game.

In other news, I missed out on my chance at having one last uber fight because I had a customer who called in right before I was about to punch out and go home.  I really want to kill something right now...but I'll never get that chance again.

I actually had to scramble to get my skills changed. I didn't know it was a 24 DT. Add tot hat, 2 were in JC's and have no implants so I wasn't fussy about switching from short skills but you do what you must I suppose.

Capital Ship Construction 4       : 5 Days 23 hrs
Science 5                                       : 1 Day 11 hrs
Advance Weapon Upgrades 4  : 3 days 9 hrs
Jump Drive Ops 4                        : 4 days 2 hrs

I suppose there is the outside chance Science 5 might lose some train times but I am not too worried about any of them really.

Well, to answer to the point of this thread, I will br training Astrogeology to level 5... it's already been running for a few days anyways. I'm sure there is a gripe forum though, I'm sure your comments will be more appropriately responded to with like minded folks. Sure there are nerfs, there are always nerfs. For a change though, this patch brings some welcome changes. Balancing of speeds is frankly a hugely welcome change (to all but those who have specialized in extreme speed tanks of course). Overall most of the changes should balance out the game, which for my 2 cents is a nice change from what CCP has been doing lately.

However, I digress as I should take my own advice and move this comment to a more appropriate outlet. At least next time detail your reasoning for those that missed what may have caused your grief.

It'll at least make you sound reasonable instead of whiny.
