I dont want to seem like a cry baby, but sometimes i really do get lost in Lord of the Rings. In some respects not finding a quest is most enjoyable as you get to wander through some places and some great scenery you have never seen before. On the other hand after running around for an hour for a quest is most frustrating some times and gives me reason to shut the game down. I somtimes group up with people who have simular quests to find my way which is good and i will always do this even if i can find a quest as grouping for me is what an MMO is about. I really love this game when I’m on a roll. I don’t like things handed to me in life and will always try and try again. However, it would be nice if Turbine implemented some sort of toggle on or off way point to the quest if you really get stuck. I own and run a large business and don’t get much time to play, so running round for 2 hours like i did the other night just cheesed me off. I played Conan and SWG and they both had a waypoint system. However, what i didn’t like is you couldn’t switch it off in Conan which made the game boring somewhat. Fore the casual player i would like to see this system introduced. Cheers Palatine |

I don't think what you are suggesting is too unreasonable. I agree that some quests are hard to find and it can hurt an otherwise brilliant game. Not everyone has hours to spend or can find a group readily. |

Thanks for the reply. I hope turbine do something about this for sure as it would make the game experience better for casual players. Turbine have been a great develoment team so far and have listened to alot of what the community is saying and implemented. I have play SWG and SEO never listened and it was frustrating to be a customer and never be listened to. It was especially frustrating when my requests and wishes were also the same as the mass majority of the community of players.
I'm not too sure if this is a mass request though? |

I tihnk this is a really bad idea, I hated this botth in WAR and AoC... For me it really ruins the immersion and turn quests to a simple grind. If I get stuck on a quest I search it on mehq.net |

Wait, so a little arrow icon on your map ruins immersion but alt-tabing out of game onto ie and looking up info doesn't ruin immersion.....I call bs, your just trying to argue. OP, I think it's a great idea. |

hehe that was a pretty agressive response wa smy opinion really that upseting for you??... no I wasnt just trying to argue, I really do hate how quests are marked on mini-map in WAR and AoC... I dont think finding quests in LotrO is a big problem and if you get stuck its easy to 1. Ask someone in game or 2. Find it on mehq.net |

LOTR online is still a great game with a great community. |

The arrow would be toggle on or off; simple isnt it? I have asked people before and i do get help. However, the other night nobody could tell me where the quest was. Call me lazy, but i dont want to alt tab and go to a website everytime to find a quest i cant locate. I work on average a 70 hour + week, so every second i play counts. I do get the emersion in the quests, but not the ones i cant find. It is also frustrating when somebody tells you the location of the quest and it actually isnt where they have told you it is.
