Not really, its more like EQ1 meets WoW.

How is grind?
Again somewhere between EQ1 and WoW

How is story?
A ton of lore, a lot is revealed in Diplomacy. All three continents have good story lines.

Game party based or solo?
Best loot is through grouping, can solo all the way to 50 if you want.

Crafting, good bad matter or dont matter?
Crafting gear is good till you raid, things like chest pieces are needed until you near finish APW. Crafting is very detailed and quite a grind.

Economy stable?
Economy is picking up a little but they need to change it a bit more, getting there, work in progress.

company helpful good updates?
GMs are second to none, regular updates, well engaged with the community, stuff is put on test early and we can complain/moan etc and they often change it ;)

Community large small?
Small at the moment with the 50th, masses of new players thanks to the free trial, so really picking up.

Cinematics in story ?
No

Expansions & updates how often big major update?
Just had GU6, regular for casual, hardcore will need to do all 3 spheres and some alts to keep entertained. No expansion currently. New Raid/Group dungeon coming.

Subscription fee?
Standard SOE charge, think its 10 or 11 pounds.

Reason most players left this game (I know it had a bad start but plz detail)?
Initially because of bugs and performance, these have been largely resolved so its now down to usual things like bored with game.

Excellent response.  I'd agree with everything stated here.

Haven't played FFXI

How is grind?

From what I hear, less than FFXI.  Vanguard is low on grinding in that you have a lot of places to explore so you don't have to kill the same stuff over and over.

How is story?

There are a lot of substories which you can get into, especially if you do diplomacy.

Game party based or solo?

Both

Crafting, good bad matter or dont matter?

Crafting system is great.  You can make a variety of items nearly as good as adventuring drops (which are much harder to get).  You can also make boats, houses, furniture, bags, ammo, etc.  Fishing is coming soon.

Economy stable?

They just changed the brokers from three separate brokers to a single one.  In my opinion it makes buying items a lot easier.

company helpful good updates?

Best GM/support team in any game I've ever played.  Also, the devs are relatively active on the boards.

Community large small?

Small but very friendly, helpful.

Cinematics in story ?

No

Expansions & updates how often big major update?

Major "game updates" ever 1-2 months, smaller ones inbetween (today we got a "minor" update including a very large new group area for level 50 players).

Subscription fee?

15 dollars a month. (less in bulk)

Reason most players left this game (I know it had a bad start but plz detail)?

Poor performance, buggy.  It's much better now.

Thanks hope I get reply soon

Enjoy!

TWILIGHT ONION!

Thanks for the reply I am considering playing this or City of Villains, I want something to take me on an adventure something that is so immersive that I can literaly get lost exploring its wonderful world for hours. Something that lets me change my characters look all the time when I wish or to how I wish, lots of customization lots of weapon/ spell choices freedom to do what I want and still be able to progress some what and a lot of group oriented PvE content.

Sounds like Vanguard might be a good game for you.  If you try it, I hope you enjoy.

CoV is an ok game but ultimately becomes boring as it is very repetative.  It is also a very constrained world.  You would do well to try out VG as well.

Yeah I think Vanguard is the better of the two.  CoX is a good game, but characters are pretty much throwaways vehicles to go through content and develope until you get bored with that particular play style.  They've spent a lot of time improving the replayability of the game instead of developing an end game, which works for some people, but I found it a bit disappointing.  The only thing that it have over Vanguard is PVP, but even then there are far better games for PVP if that's what you're looking for.. well in my opinion at least.

Vanguard wins against a lot of games in the depth department because its easy to get lost into a non-combat sphere of the game and actually enjoy it.
