WAR (Warhammer Online)

I left the game shortly after the free month ended.

I was a lvl 23 Warrior Priest, with several other mid teens Order characters. So has anythign changed since then? Are the classes any more balanced? is Open world RVR actually happening or is it still in a guild v guild keep sieges only?

Is leveling still a ridiculous chore post 20?

Never found levelling a chore, did quests and tome unlocks, visited Gunbad and Bastion Stairs.  Have a rank 40 and still tons of quests left over in all 3 pairings.   Have 5 alts all are level 16 currently.  I craft too.

Servers have had free character transfers going on this past month or so, to even up faction numbers etc.  Bonus buffs to factions on the destination servers.   Second live event starts today...class revamps or balancing coming up in update 1.0.6  after they get feedback from players on the Public test server.

Anyway all that information can be found in the Herald section I'm pretty sure...on the main Warhammer site.

Hmm.. I'd suggest you wait till December. 1.06 patch will address class imbalances and 1.1 is supposed to put some major content into RvR lakes.

At the moment they're concentrating mostly on bug fixes and polishing the technical side of things. The concerns you listed will get addressed by the new year - we'll wait and see if they work.

I'm having fun and playing the game still, ofc. Get into a large guild and roll/transfer to a more populated server. You'll find most of your problems melt away.

no dont come back, if you didnt ike it the first month, chances are it's not your cup of tea. this game doesnt need more people crying about how it's not  lke WOW or like AOC.

If you think levelling in WAR is a chore, then you must have little experience with MMOs.  you should have played EQ or L2 at launch if you want to see what a chore levelling can be.

Come back Dec 2nd (when Heavy Metal ends) to get the changes coming. The changes don't seem that hard but I resubbed a couples of says ago and lvling my lvl 20 WP through this event and I after all do want to get the first week of tanks.
