Level 80 in a couple days.

End content already beaten within a week

I saw my friend play the DK to 58.  Handout and handout.

This game is for the lowest common denominator with a lot of time on his hands.

I dont think thats fair to say honestly. I mean you are entitled to your own opinions thats fine. But because certain people have problems and want to play from 70-80 fast or get from 55-58 fast does that mean the game is bad?   WoW has made it easier to level to which I thank them for.  Lets face it people have alts on their accounts and other accounts because they ran out of room on their main account.  The only thing I can possible blame wow for in this new expansion so far...is that I was hoping for at least 2 hero classes and wanted around 4.

My main point is, you cannot blame wow for certain players playstyles or habbits. Play the game at your own pace and try to enjoy it. I can gurantee you the people that are already 80 or have explored all the content need to not only get a life, but I dont think they even read the quests, finished all the quests or even have all the professions down pact.

Anyway...if you judge a game just based on some sick kids then thats your problem not ours. Besides I would take my time with this expansion if I were them, or they are going to get bored fast and start waiting for the new expansion.

If the content has been eaten up this fast it means others will follow right behind them.  I predict a mass of people sitting in the new city contemplating another year of a AB or AV

"Inanimate objects must pay for their insolence"

Meh, I hate levels anyway. When I progressed from e-3 to e-4 in the United States Navy I didn't get anymore hit points.

Shouldn't you be playing an Fps then?

Naah, I just don't think levels are a requirement for an MMO. I favor skill-based progression... maybe throw in perma-death or limited leveling controlled by character aging rather than killing 5,000,000,000,000 boars. I dunno, it just seems like leveling/gear grind has become the one-trick-pony of the MMO industry and I really think there is room for some new ideas out there.

That's alot of boars...

So first you say lvling goes too fast and then you need a lot of time on your hands

how does slow go?

all MMOs who have nolifers who aim to maxcap ASAP, WoW is no difference.  The players who max cap then have to sit on their ass for weeks waiting for normal players to catch up.

Just so you know endgame was completed by the most hardcore guild in WoW, the guild in question played all the end game bosses in beta for 4-6months so come release they simply helped each other power lvl to max cap in a few days greatly helped with the top end lvl 70 PVE raid gear from TBC.. it was then business as usual as they killed all end game bosses dozens of times in beta, they knew the fights.

It wil take heavy raid guilds atleast 6 months to get that far
Noraml raid guilds close to 9 months

If you honesty think this is normal and they experienced all that wrath has to offer.. then.... pfft

As to DK's, the starting area is designed to teach you how to play the DK over 3 levels so yes it handout.. duh. But its super fun too.

I got wrath on launch day and I am only 20% in lvl72... with about 17 hours played.

Are ya sure?  You might've and not realized it... when was the last time you engaged someone in mortal hand to hand combat?
