Darkfall

... I'm not a follower or a hater of this game, there are things that I don't see as positive aspects like the community, the inconsistent art-style the unoriginal lore, but there are some good ideas, like the game-world, freedom etc.

But after I saw the nov18 updates I was shocked, every report sounded like an infomercial and are clearly written by the same person, see, this is not an issue for me or for anyone that see Darkfall as just an upcoming game, but it is a disrespectful attitude for all the people who follow this game for years.

I'm not trying to annoy Darkfall followers and I will not waste my time trying to find proof of what I said, but please, if you disagree, read all the reports again, it is clear that all of them are much more a marketing move than a real beta tester report.

Even the almost "negative" reports seems to be there only to simulate a real beta tester report, but of course they fail at it.

Can I be wrong? Yes, and I hope so, but if I’m not...

Meh, say what you want, the Froth&Foamers cant take that away from you. The best they can do is continue to make excuses for Tasos&Co.

I agree with you though, the quotes are ambivalent, and frankly hold just about as much weight as people telling me how great their "Sham-WOW" is.

I've always found most of these vaporware types of posts to be at the very least unnecessary they make it sound like once the game releases and everyone get's it home and open the box they'll find a rock with the weight equivalent to a cd plus other in box goodies if the game releases and sucks it will be nothing new but either way fan posts and negative ones alike are kind of irrelevant.

Jaxsundane, I think you misunderstood my post, I never said anything about vaporware, you should at least understand what you call unnecessary.

Not only that, but here in the States since they dont have a publisher, we wont even get a box of rocks. Thats all I hear. "Darkfall rocks." Wheres my rock?

Guess you kinda answered your own question.  Adventurine decided to make a game. If it comes out then cool, it not oh well.  We'll wait for something else to come out. 

This is seriously getting old.  I can't believe how retarded people are about games that might be coming out.  If this type of game doesn't interest you then so be it, find one that does.  Whats the point of posting in a game forum if you dont "think/ believe" its coming out.  Boggles my mind.  I of course will just blame it on the no child left behind.  Poor kids  :(

You know what boggles my mind?

The fact I never said I dont belive the game is coming out... read it again "see Darkfall as just an upcoming game" ... what is the matter with you and some others that are claiming I said Darkfall is a vaporware?

My point is related to all those infomercial-style pseudo reports, if the same happened with Aion,  TCoS or any other game I would express my opinion as I did here.
