I just edited my original post to include a quick and simple guide to getting signed up.

Read the email folks... it very clearly provides you with a beta key (not ths same thing as the control code), and it specifically tells you where to download the client from... it's not a link to the download, but instructions on how to navigate it from within the TCOS site...

i recieved the same email as you. if you check the subject it says confirmation email or something another but no key inside other than the control code thing. i dont think theres gonna be any more mail coming. btw mine never switched to english either:(

its in english and says the following

You may admit to being a Beta participant; however you may not use knowledge gained within the game in discussions outside of the official TCoS Beta Forums

If you answers the question with No(non) then you weren't entered in the beta.  You have to answer the question Yes(Oui) in order to get your beta code.

Answering Non does not get you the beta invite.  It does get you a control code but that is not the beta key.  What the hell it is for I don't know.

I received a very different email from the ones you folks are posting... I won't copy/paste it here, but to paraphrase it notified me of my acceptance ito the internatonal closed beta test, provided a beta key, and then provided step-by-step instructions on how to complete the registration process.

So... not sure if I did something different, if I was lucky, or if they've caught on and have now started sending out different types of emails... I hope the rest of you can get it all sorted out...
