I get the strong feeling the difficulty level in WOTLK has been put way too low.

I am an experienced gamer, not just in mmo's but also in fps games. I like games. I also like to be challenged, and feel like I achieved something in a game. Like killing a hard boss. Killing M'uru and KJ felt good back in those days. It was a challenge.

Even doing very early Karazhan in TBC when the boss tactics hadn't even been put up on bosskillersetc - it was a fun challenge, with some real wipes here and there. Let's not talk about pre-nerf Gruul.

But WOTLK is now a faceroll made for noobs. Even the 25 man bosses are easymode. It takes no skill to achieve the highest PVE kills. So what's the point, when everyone has done it and everyone has all the gear because it's just a noobfest?

You don't need to be good, all you need is to be there and collect all the epics and kill all the bosses. All you need is a working keyboard and mouse.

Is WoW-WotLK a game made for noobs, so that anyone can faceroll their way to getting everything they want?

Naxx = Kaz,  not Sunwell.    Naxx is the first raid in the expansion.  It's supposed to be easy because Blizzard wants to get a higher portion interested in raiding.   You also are only talking about 1 guild clearing Naxx so far in the entire world (out of 12,000,000  players).  My server still doesn't even have a guild doing the 25man version, let alone killing a boss.   And again, that is the INTRODUCTORY raid, not the real raids.   You also failed to mention that the ONE guild that has finished Naxx was on the beta server for 6 months basically doing nothing BUT practicing on it.

The horde faction on my server still only has about 3 dozen lvl 80s, and most of them aren't in the same guild and are just doing the 5 man lvl 80 dungeons.  They aren't even doing the heroics yet.

Also, you failed to mention that Wrath has about 1200 quests for each faction to do.  All of the people who are 80 now rushed past the real content.  Yes, they are 80 now, but over the coming months, they will be going back to see the content they missed.

Content isn't 'finished' when you get to lvl 80, content is 'finished' when you've done the content.

The main change from my point of view is that every instance can be experienced with a 10-man group (instead of 25-man or 40-man back in the classic days). Overall this is an improvement in my eyes. I don't think the game because any easier as far as the open world is concerned. I reserve my opinion for when I experience the 10-man dungeons first hand. I do expect a Karazhan-like challenge as well from the content. Remains to be seen.

The "faceroll made for noobs" statements are premature, if not downright childish.

So OP:. You are NOT even raiding after a FULL week.

You don't give the name of your avatar, so I can check it out on the armory. Which guild if you want to stay anonymus. Guild progress is also being monitored....And we can always inspect it in game of course.

Tier 6? Where is the Tier of WotLK then ?

Oh I see you don't have it. ....Too difficult? You had a FULL week and you can't show us even the basic RAid gear of WotLK?

You MUST be a noob then.

So why do you post ? Pure and utterly hate because that other game doesn't catch the market? So sad.

I can't speak for everyone, but I personally do not have the time to engage in such gameplay anymore. Sure I'd love to get involved in a 40 man raid and devote hour upon hour and week upon week of practice runs and wipes to down some uberhard boss, but it is just not feasible. All I want to do now is log in for an hour or two every night, and achieve something. Be it a quick instance, a few quests or a bit of PvP.

For that to happen, the gameplay is going to have to be made easier. People need to realise that WoW is being geared towards people like me. I realise that there is a market for people who have the time and dedication for more complex gameplay, but unfortunately WoW is not it. The sooner people realise this, the sooner they can search for something they will enjoy and stop bashing WoW for not being what they want.

It's all too easy to drop into a forum like this and say "I have this, i have that, 25-man too easy done it all!!!", but really if you are gonna just bluster without backing it up you may as well be one of those guys on the corner with a sandwich board shouting about the end of the world!

All you gotta do is say 'x' character in 'x' guild on 'x' server completed 'x' run by the 'xth' day with only 'x' tries (just fill in the blanks, most of the work is done for you)

Look forward to you shutting up all your critics and proving just how easy all of this pathetic Wrath content is ;-)

After checking the recent post history of the OP, it's not worth replying to any of his posts. In all sub-forums he posted, he started a flame war.
