I was referring to the history the developers have of making promises and not delivering. This time around, they have promised an open beta plus a 2008 release. This is a recent promise. I don't think the 2008 release is realistic at all, and I'd be happy if they have an open beta before the end of the year. If they fail to deliver the open beta, I think even the most hardcore fanbois will question their zealous support of the game.

Keep a promise and release an unfinished POS game or not keep a promise and hold off until they can release a good stable game.

I would take the second option every time.

Who cares if the game gets pushed back again? Really who cares if the game gets released at all. None of us here have anything invested into this game yet except a bit of time typing on a forum.

All we can do is hope that it gets released and that it is a good game.
If not then we just go looking for something else.

Thats how this all works.

While i do admire the humor, coming from someone who starts most of his comments with "I predict", "I can assure you 100%" etc. it's ironic.

Actually it has nothing to do with psychic abilities, only intelligence.

The only reason i beleive it exist is because of the local news story it had when they released the second video during that athens event.

But "as it draws closer to release" and i start thinking about Darkfall post launch as a completed product i start thinking about how many times iv been at this stage with other MMO's that didnt survive launch for a number a reasons that all eventually boiled down to an incompetent or unprepared staff of developers.

Then i start to think "well this may be different"...just cause Funcom,Mythic,Sony and turbine have all had projects fail for very same reason doesnt mean Adventurine will suffer the same fate.

Then that "well this may be different" feeling turns into "oh shit......." all because i really hate the way Adventurine is going about this "supposedly" under 90 days away from the launch,We havent gotten any new screens since that athens thing,We've gotten 2 gameplay videos in the span of 10 years or longer,There being so god damn vague with beta info that people are understandably questioning if the beta even exist.

Those are just a few of many concerns i have about Adventurine and unfortunetly this is all i have to go off when it comes to Adventurines track record. Im still gonna be there at launch and im hoping that launch goes smoothly...hmmm...let me rephrase...im hoping that Darkfall survives launch so i can finnaly have the ffa pvp game that ive been needing for years.
