I quit playing this game a year ago. I now play WAR and WOW but the new WotLK expansion for WOW is making me want to quit WOW for good this time. It feels like the same boring grind to just with a few new areas and recycled enemies and bosses just different colors. Plus I cant do the PVP anymore since WAR's PVP is so good compaired to WOW's. So my question is since I quit Lord of the Rings Online a year ago would I still have my characters if I renew my subscribtion. Because when I cancealed it I recieved an email saying I might lose my characters. I want to buy the new expansion and just want to know if I would still have my characters from a year ago? If not I might still buy it and just use the free 30 day free play and start fresh. I use to play on Brandywine and will go back there. Is it still a high populated server? Someone plz help me out before I buy the game. |

Yes all your character will still be there! And they say Brandywine is one of the most populated servers so its likely you will see ques to get in right now because of the expansion! Welcome back ;) |

Lord of the Rings Online: The Balrog WILL kill you. |
Elendilmir and Landroval are the next 'high' population servers. |

I don't know if active posts translate into active servers (could be a few guys posting over/over) but if you want to try that route, you can look at the Server Forum postings at LOTRO and see which server posted/posts regularly or posted the most overall. Looking at that, I think Landroval had the most active posting group. Also, a RP server probably would tend to have more forum posts that may/may not translate into higher actual gameplay numbers. Hard to tell.. |
