Nice screens. Let's hope the game underneath plays as good as it looks. |

"We have allowed 2 journalists from MMORPG Italia to do a review of Darkfall beta. They have been playing for a few hours here at our offices and we've been helping them out. They requested this visit over a month ago and we agreed. We'll do the same for any professional gaming media that's interested to come here and get a hands-on experience of the game. We will allow media wider access to the beta soon enough, but for now this can only happen on site. We have not lifted the NDA, but we have allowed them access just for their review, but not to answer questions after this is out. We will ask you to respect this, and our willingness to share information about the game, even when there's an active NDA. We take the NDA very seriously, for the good of the game. This is still a testing process. They have taken some screenshots and I'm sure they'll have a lot to say about the game in the days to come: http://www.mmorpgitalia.it/forum/f29...nshots-212903/"
Wiich means MMORPG.com can do the same as those italian guys, if they would send someone to Athens. |

It seems that any professional gaming media can go there to get a hands on experience. |

Sorry, you are still arguing that Darkfall is not a HOAX.
Darkfall can not only be a real game, but it can actually release and still be VAporware. So you might want to check your midichlorian count there young Jedi. Falls short of expectations This category refers particularly to products that may not be inherently flawed or defective, but rather fail to fulfill the high expectations of the consumers who have been subjected to aggressive marketing campaigns and constant hype from either the company itself or the media who reported about it in the period leading to release. Delays on such products have been known to inflate to months and even years, creating often unrealistic expectations of the final version once it eventually reaches store shelves. The biggest example of this is the computer game Daikatana, which was announced in 1997 but did not ship until 2000. Many who had waited felt the gameplay was disappointing. Ultima IX was released to savage reviews in 1999, due to numerous bugs, unbalanced gameplay and high system requirements.
Based on this definition of, Age of Conan, WAR...hell, even World of Warcraft are Vaporware. I have yet to see any game live up to expectations. I don't subscribe to this low-minded definition. It's too ignorant and dismissive. Vaporware, in my opinion, is software or a set of ideas that never come to fruition. Please, give up. You're making a fool of yourself now. |

While there are actual trolls on these DF forums you DF fans gotta get off your high horses and stop calling everyone and anyone who questions this game as trolls. I am neither a fan or a hater, just a skeptic as i would be with any other game with this track record. |

Just an observation, but the UI looks so much like Dark Age of Camelots, its uncanny. |
