A fanbase like yours and than people wonder why this game keeps dying. Lol

Sorry, but I don't see that Ryzom have any chanse to Runes of magic.

Probably not to Atlantica either but since I havn't tried it I'm not sure of that.

Give me a break, Ryzom is a hundred times better than a grappy cash shop f2p.

Its not even close, RoM and Atlantica still feel like they are in alpha.

Ryzom isnt a f2p game anyway once december hits its P2p, the new company is just setting up billing  thats all.

The last post is another in the long line of people mis leading others,why? i guess it's the fanbois syndrome,no other reason why people lie about a game.

This game IS EXACTLY like a F2P game,no ifs and or butts about it.Anyone that would pay to play it is nuts.I found it too boring to play even for free,was nothing there to grab my interest for more than 1 hour each day i looged in,until i got to the point that i had no interest to log in anymore.

There is NOT one thing you can't get in a F2P game that Ryzom would offer you.There is nothing done in the game that is above and beyond any F2P game ,be it graphics/content what ever,this is the reason it is EXACTLY like a F2P.

I would not mis lead anyone into saying "Don't play it",but don't come on here and tell others it's a top notch game worthy of paying to play.It IS a VERY average game.

I guess it needs repeating again. And again.

1. Don't judge the Ryzom (or any) community by the posts or comments of a few rude people, especially not those in a third party location like MMORPG.com.

2. Ryzom is not a game that will appeal to every person on Earth. (Same can be said of any game.) For some people, it is the best game available right now. For others, it's complete crap. For most it is somewhere in between. Those motivated to post usually fall into the "best" or "crap" groups, so forum threads tend to be polarized. YMMV, etc.

3. Ryzom tends to be attractive to:
a. Crafters and foragers.
b. Roleplayers.
c. People who hate quest chains.
d. People who enjoy struggling to learn and understand things.
e. Patient people.

4. Ryzom tends to be unattractive to:
a. People who want a quick session with well-defined rewards.
b. People who want to follow a pre-defined story.
c. People who enjoy quest chains.
d. People who get enough challenge elsewhere and want something easy to get into and understand.
e. People in a hurry.

(No judgment is in any way intended here, different people have different needs and enjoy different things. Diversity is good.)

well I played it for a bid, and this game has a verry loyal fanbase and a great community

but I wonder if it isn't better to keep this game free, because of mine opinion the loyal playerbase is just to small to keep te game running, I can have it wrong, so don't blame me

because this game already had problems in the past, so maby when they ask monthly fee again the game will just die off again... and that would be a pitty, I do not play the game annymore because of other games, but still ryzom is nice!
