OpenRvR for REAL PvP!

The servers are so badly imbalanced now, that I just can't see War  recovering in the long term.

The only people having fun, are the side of Destruction on 90% of the servers - maybe even all of them now.

The counterparts of Destro v Order is so horribly in favour of Destruction, it isn't even funny.  Add this to the population imbalance on every server, and what do you have?  More and more people who play Order are either switching or quitting.

On my server, it is just laughable.  Every tier has their OP classes steamrollering every zone, and when Order try and take a keep back, Destro just turn up with 5 times the number and recoup.

Even though I give this game a lot of stick, it's because I like it, and want it to improve.  I can't see the way out of this hole.  Mythic must be blind to the problems they have caused, and ironically, they will be the death of their own game.  Already there are cries of 'oh, the BG is so superior to the KoTBS....'

If that is the case, I see an iceberg on the horizon, and this game is heading full tilt for it with Stevie Wonder at the rudder...

They need to cut their servers to half, that would help a ton imho.

You kill the Joe, you make some moe

Since Mines of Moria just came out im heading back to Lotro,

The world is so dead in WAR, feels like im playing some old forgotten mmo that you can never ever get a group in.

Is it to late? No idea, if they completely removed scenarios in the game and merged servers, I would resub and check it out, but until I hear that the game has improved on world RvR, and PvE, im gone.

Nah, it is not to late.

The game would have been bigger if they released it later and balanced it better from the start but Mythic can still turn it around. But it won't happen over night, it wil probably take a year of hard work doing it.

WAR and WoW

I can only speak for the EU servers but it seems like the game pop is more balanced Order vs Destro on a lot of the servers I've played on. The problem is that there are just not enough people overall.

Don't compare KotBS to the Blackguard: they are not mirrors of each other. It would make more sense to compare the IB to the Blackguard. There are issues with the Chosen from what people have told me about theirs, and the KotBS is the mirror of the Chosen. The thing to keep in mind though is that most people want to play Empire when they play Order, so having an Empire tank will probably help retain or even attract new players to Order.

Nearly all servers are balanced, so population imablance is only something that affects a few people. Wins/losses also seems pretty even across sides, and while there's certainly some classes that need rebalancing, it seems pretty even across, as both sides have "OP" and subpar careers.

Server populations is a problem in EU, but server transfers should be ready next week, similar to how it's done on the US servers, so this will not be a problem anymore.

The game is pretty huge already, though less huge, it seems, than the devs expected, given the massive amounts of servers they launch both in the US and europe. Given how quickly they are improving the game as well, it doesn't seem like there'll be anything stopping its success.

Unfortunately the large scale PvP is based alot on what server you are on, alot of server will generally end up with you doing scenarios over and over again if you want to PvP. or you can try to start open RvR but no one wanted to which caused me to quit. That and the requiring of T3 zones to be captured if no one was in the T4 zone you were trying to take.

The game just got to the point where the only thing there was left to do was log on every 3 days to do warpblade which was very unrewarding. WoW bgs were not for me and WAR scenarios were not for me so I left.

This game is dead to me.   It promissed a lot, and delivered very little.  I was disappointed in every aspect of this game.   AoC disappointed me too.  Both games, had potential, but turned out to suck.

Agree, and it is a big issue, personally i wont be playing when my sub ends (25th).

A huge mistake was to open as many servers as they did, and to segregate the EU players as much as they did.

Huge maps/land as WAR has, needs much more than a  of thousand people on each side.

Also, having as many RvR zones as the game has atm, segregate even more the players

Does not feel empty, it is empty indeed. Merge servers could be a good first step, but they decide to just let some players use transfers, so people not  on high populated or low populated servers, are screw, waitting till some miracle happend and fill those servers .... Fine, i`ll wait, but i wont keep paying.
