Hi i was just wondering if it was worth leaving WoW for this game. I just bought WOTLK and am a level 71 mage. I've been finding wow boring lately and have been looking for a new game. I am interested in war's RVR but i prefer PVE and would like to know how what the PVE is like in this game. |

Its hard to recomend a game know very little of your taste, but war could be fun. RvR is always good but the way I see it is if your bored with wow then you will prob get bored with war. |

Well, first off I played WAR in CB and days before release, and stopped playing about 3 days after pre-release. Well its not the game to go to if you want to get rid of WoW, it has poor PVE content, like none at all, I havnt experienced it myself that well. But what I experienced was very very boring. And the RvR aka PvP was much more boring than the one in WoW, calling the Open RvR revolutionating was exxaggerating, cause there is no one, and I mean no one in the open rvr areas. |

If you are growing tired of 1 MMO - then going for another one is not the solution. |

Personally I think WoW is complete trash compared to WAR, but I guess it depends on your tastes, which you gave little information on. The biggest difference is that WAR is much more PvP focused than WoW. One thing that might also turn you off is that there's bugs and things in need of tweaking in the game, given that it's still in its infant stages after launch, though its safe to say it's in a lot better state than WoW was at the same stage. If you like large scale and semi-large scale PvP, go for WAR (there's no Tom "Mr. Arenas" Chilton here). There is also PvE content, though as far as dungeons go not close to as much as WoW has. PvE questing is done better in WAR, though, IMO, and there's improvements and streamlining of the basic MMO gameplay in various areas. |
