Well this DX10 fiasco was a big deal for a lot of players. I personally know people who spent a lot of money to upgrade their computers just because of DX10. Luckily I didn't. Then 2 days before launch they said: "Sorry guys, we just decided a minute ago that DX10 won't make it in launch!". Now 6 months ago we STILL don't have it and it could take a month or more before it reaches live.

Now do you understand why these "coming soon" news piss people off? It's false advertising with solo purpose of taking peoples money.

But you and I are probably different kinds of people. I demand good, quality service and I hate lying. Some people here have smaller expectations. They are happy to pay for beta and when they get lied by game companies they just bend over and say "thank you sir, may I have another?". People like these are the reason MMO's get launched too early - there is always some idiot willing to pay for beta.

We as a community have to demand better service.

Well stated, except that FunCom never actually apologized for any of the things that they have lied about. They gave their poor excuse as to why they failed to deliver a product as described on the box, but never apologized for anything. That is one reason FunCom is failing: they are not only arrogant and  self-rightous, but they have no remorse for ripping off their customers. It is no accident that they lost over 600000 customers within 3 short months and are now on the verge of bankruptcy!

Way to go you two! Nice side stepping what I said then personally insulting me!! Maybe you should actually read what I wrote next time. They never said "coming soon" as you people are saying. Please post a link proving they did if you think Im wrong. They have kept on track with what they said about  DX10 since release.  Im not talking about before launch i already acknowledged that. So please stop bringing a knife to a gun fight it doesnt give you a positive image.

If I decide to reload AOC which server should I join and are there active guilds recruiting?  I would like to be on a PVP server.

Seriously, this is about the tenth time they have released something saying " DX10 is coming soon".   Press releases about 'private shows' at conventions etc.

It seems like every month since launch Dx10 has been talked about 'soon', yet it isn't even on the test realms yet. They really need to just stop talking about dx10 until it is actually in the game.  I don't understand why they think they can get players excited about 'soon' when it is a feature people were expecting at launch.  They should just shut up about it, get it in the game, then apologize for the delay.
