The concepts behind the game have been the same since it's inception.  That is, FFA, open, and with consequence.

The whole worldmap with its handmade graphics were dumped 2003. They started to create a new one 2003.  New coding. New game engine. A different game then the original one Razorwax had created from 2001 to late 2002.

See in this forum, despite your best efforts abramhm, we like to talk about a game we are all interested in.  So when some journalists visit the studio and post pictures from their trip...that is worthy of a thread to share it among friends.

I know this is a tough concept but try to open your mind and think slowly.

 

No no, I understand, you want to show pics of the studio. I'm confused about why you did the same thing you always do, post some irrelevent little piece of info, make it out to be so much more than it is, intentionally bait the "trolls", and then troll yourself by continually trying to argue the whole time. Don't you get tired of it? Do you ever leave your house?

Posting pics of the studio is one thing, but the title and your posts afterwards make you nothing more than a troll, and a rather poor one at that.

All kidding aside, i see where you are comming from.  Unfortunatly this forum is what it is.  Could the OP have done without the comments about how this proves it isnt fake?  Absolutley.  I shouldnt need to confirm what is already fact, just because some trolls want to bait people...i should just let it go.

As far as leaving my house...laptops are fun and my job is not only a lot of fun in that im very mobile...but it allows me to hop on forums during slower times.

Sounds like a sweet gig. Btw, I don't think anyone but the worst of trolls are arguing that this game is fake, or a hoax any more, so I don't think you need to prove it to anyone. Most are questioning whether it is where they say it is, has what they say it has, and will be availiable when they say it will be available, nothing else. But I get the feeling you keep falling back to the "It's not fake!" argument because you don't have legitimate defenses against the previously mentioned, very legitimate concerns. I don't think a lot of the people you have labeled as "trolls" are cheering for Darkfall to fail, or suck, or not come out, but are just saying "Hey wait a minute, this isn't adding up quite right". I have been very skeptical and very vocal with my skepticism about the game, but I still want it to come out, be good, and do well.  You label us as anti-darkfall, when in reality we are just anti-fanboi, trying to get a clear indication that anything we are told is actually true without completely falling onto blind faith.

Aye thats right. Darkfall game of today is 5 year old and not a 7 old one as some claims. Game was more or less restarted mid 2003.

Even the developers of Darkfall of today call it a 5 year old game, not a 7 year old one.

They can say what they want, you talking about "Well Technically since we started over some of this stuff in '03 it's only been 5 years".

Whatever, the game started development 7 years ago, regardless of starting over, getting new devs, selling out to someone else. The base of this game founded itself 7 years ago. That is a hell of a long time to be this far along.

Your wrong. Theres been numerous of threads on this and the facts about a 5 year old one game by far exceeds the 7 year theory.
