A game that is set in the time period the Bible is set in could work, especially since it is a very brutal era. Theres lots of factions, wars, stories etc you could create for it and the cultures are there etc

I can not see how a game based on a set of religous stories could work in the over PC society there is now. Can you imagine how many people would complain if it only took 24 people to raid Jesus? ;p

*sigh*

I always love the pure hubris of Christians.  They think they own the world and its spiritual realm.  Clearly the throngs of people who lived before Jesus, and the throngs of people who lived after him and yet did/do not except him as their savior, clearly they are all "wrong" and are therefore forever doomed to damnation.

LMAO at stupidity.

I'd have to say this is the dumbest post I've read in a long time. And I'm not even religious.

I went through the anti-god stage when I was a kid, too. The only difference is that I had my facts straight. lol

Ah, so that's what has been missing on this forum!  It's been about 2 months since this has been posted.  It's usually posted about every 2 weeks.  And it's usually posted by some self important ass who thinks it needs it's own thread.

Guys, pls lets not bash each others personal beliefs(, we got off-topic for that. ...jk )

I'm not a christian myself, but I remember reading the stories from the old testament as a kid, I thought they were entertaining

As for which version, I reckon the most used one, the most known one perhaps. I don't know which one that is, but maybe the King James version?

Perhaps there would be people that wouldn't play it because of the version, but so what? It shouldn't be a RL missionary game, more than others games anyway.

And I'm sure there would probably be christian communities, as well as a non-christian communities. I don't see the problem with that.

As for historical, I think alot of people accepts that Jesus was a RL person, so a part of our history.

Also the bible itself is a part of our history. Some of it refer to RL events that are acknowledged in history.

Conservative christians might not want to play this, since they might think of it as blasphemy, but then again I don't they consider mmo genre to be acceptable in the first place. But I reckon there are christians that play mmo's, they are probably younger generations.
