Men are but flesh and bone.
We know our doom but not the time.

Hi all.

From the list on the Left from top to bottom which in your mind out of that list had the best Character designs.?

Myself i think, SWG.

Well, that question is really  too subjective to even answer. Do you prefer hyper-realism or highly stylized art? Both perfectly valid styles, just a preference. The game with the best character generation is CoX, hands down. Limited only by your imagination. Wanna be a giant bunny, a blue genie, a soldier, or a suited gangster? I've seen em all and so much more. You can be any humanoid you can imagine, really the best  ( wish the gameplay had been as compelling).

Spellborn maybe? I love the look of their spindley looking characters. Just very unique style

Maybe Aion next? or maybe Everquest 2?

There was one game (mind you i cannot remember the name now) But  we could be Crazy Giant  Flowers and with added feature that looked somewhat a bit much at times at times.

It was funny to see though. was a long time ago as well.

Well, Aion's character creation will pretty much allow you to make anything you want--

here are some examples including characters from the LOTR trilogy, Michael Jackson and even Arthas.

That's what I like.

For the number of times that SOE has destroyed the game I loved, even after it was very clear it was not what the majority wanted, I feel that they should start making donations to us- Paradox (SWG)

If ur looking for the most versatile, as in many options and combinations and what not, i would say CoX and AoC. If u want realism my first thought is AoC and if i think about how the charecters looked in CoX i would say they looked pretty real so COX too. For Syle i would have to go with AION from what ive seen in vids, Warhammer and WoW from what I played.

I did play SWG after the NGE(so i guess i didnt really play it...) but i dnt remember those guys looking "real", having many choices, or being stylized. Could be wrong though

E&B, SWG, EVE, AO, TR, EU, GW, PS, RV, CoX

Definitely not SWG.  The only thing SWG had going for it was lots of species and tons of wearables but let's not kid ourselves about preCU.  What was available to wear into battle and what was appropriate to wear into battle were two different things.  I ****ing hated the retarded composite armor wars.  OMG, I can't even begin to describe how truly stupid SWG PvP looked with every single non jedi wearing a completely identical set of armor ON BOTH SIDES.

Gimme a break!  CoX easily has the best character design/creation system I've ever seen in terms of variety though I'm not terribly keen on the costume system itself.  I prefer having physical wearables I can actually equip.

Granado Espada.  You said character design not character customization.  Granado Espada doesn't have much customization, but the characters are damn nice looking.  I don't think any game with lots of customization compares to Granado Espada's detail since you lose detail with high amounts of customization.  Also Risk Your Life had some nice Character Designs.

If your talking about Customization, then I would say Perfect World and AION.
