yup stations ar e safe, and if you got his herad on shoulders you can earn a lot of cash without undocking ( my friend is doing it, i dont have the merchant gene in me <_< ) . And its is untrue that you can do only pew pew in expensive ships. WIth factional warfare and FW plexes you can get a pew pew in t1 frigate ( greetings fpor people that dont run away from me ^^, it always foun to pew pew in friggy^^, even 1 vs 3). If you dont like pvp stay in hiosec and do missions, with world domination coming to horison and epic misions arcs, there be lots of new stuff. if you go lowsec be prepared to fight, or watch local and check scanner. and honestly, as a 0.0 polayer ill tell you one thing. The lowsec  and hisec are scarry. all that non blue persons flying around <_<. and 0.0 is ironicaly safer than low

Cookie-Cut MMO developers deserve failure

 New Players;

When you Die you will lose your items and a random number of those items will be lootable

(fan[kidz] will say "Dont fly what you cant afford" So you end up doing level 1 missions over and over again, fun eh?)

Eve Community is full of e-peen rambo wanna-be's, by this you will quickly find your self killed by x10 number of players against your 1 shuttle, and then to make matters even more funny, they will actually claim a victory and think they did something UBER l33tz0r cause their kill mail increased.

Yes, Eve is full of PvP griefers, and no matter how you play you will die and lose all your stuff. I suggest you pass on Eve and try something else.

Eve has a small subscription player base, lets keep it that way.

when proven wrong you just repeat your arguments. you tried eve, eve kicked your ass so you come to the forums to cry about it.

players like you will never get into EVE, and thats a good thing. you know that this thread has brought several people out of the woodwork and made them think "this guy whines too much, im sure i could do well". so your crying is actually an advert for eve. anyone turned away by your constant bellyaching would have never lasted through the tutorial anyhow.

My biggest gripe with EVE was that skills are learnt in real time and as I joined a year and a half after launch, I would and always be behind others - as I'm a competitive player it only took 6 months before I gave up because of this.

However you sir have no idea.

You must have gone into low sec space to have gotten ganked, you also probably didnt have any counter measure equipment, like warp core stabilisers? and possibly a micro warp drive to counter a web?

Yea you do lose your ship and gear in this game, quite possibly one of the games best features! PvP and death actually matter - although as long as you fit your ship with junk loot, and make sure you insure it - you have practically nothing to lose.

However if you do splash out and spend iskies on good gear, and then go solo unprepared as a noobie into low sec space - what exactly do you expect?

Not so long ago I made a trial account and spent all 14 days pvping with other noob corp members for giggles - we went can tipping..lost a hell of alot of gear, also stole a crap load of ore. The games about risk, if you try to go solo you'll get pasted, if you fly with others - potential is limitless.

Also presumably you read up on the game before playing it? you knew exactly what you were getting into. Go take a cold shower and chill out for a bit, you probably only lost 10ks isk worth of stuff - not that much in the long run ^^

Now if they were to Open up a brand spanking new EVE server for those of us that hate being behind - I'd be on it before you could say ' Waffle'

this will never happen, the entire premise of the game is that there is one server, its like WoW removing all gear.

incidently, i find it sad that you quit at the 6 month boundary, this is when you are easily able to fly a tech 2 ship or bs. you had caught up. :(

This game has been around for the better part of 5 years now. Basically, what should be considered safe areas are indeed not safe. Eve Online is by far one of the worst gankfest games ever made, which can be fun or frustrating. It's fun for those who are established, financially stable and well equipped. It's frustrating for anyone who's just starting out since theres players who have nothing better to do than blow your ships up any way they can.

I like PvP, but this game promotes severe ganking of new players by veteran players who have worse potty mouths than the Barren Chat in WoW. Eve is a great game, atleast the concept is, but with no safety net for new players, it already hit its subscription cap years ago.

By all means, feel free to give it a try on a trial account, but the game is full of gankers, scammers and anything you can think of to basically ruin your day. Since Eve is all about high risk vs. reward, it's next to impossible to even get anywhere as a new player.

All I'm saying is, play at your own risk, but from a veteran MMO player and PvP fan, this game is ridiculous and don't say I didn't warn you.

And this is coming from a guy who has been playing this game for 66 hours in the past 7 days -_-; if your enjoying it dont bother to mock it to others , let them see for themselfs , this is why the subs dont go up because of people like u.
