If you waste like 10 hours of your life each day all month long then you have issues and need to get out and see the world instead of putting it to such a waste infront of a monitor all day.

The world is full of terrorists, you are far safer in front of your computer screen.

10h a day is still crazy, this system is good to help some game addicted which cant help themselves.

Korea has laws restricting how much time you can play on-line, Aion isnt imposing anything they are just abiading by the law like every game in korean like WoW

No game in the westen world will do it because its not law simple as that

Ok, are people seriously in anger over this?  I mean 300 hrs a month ... 10 hrs a day..  If you get pissed over this you need to get out from time to time.  Even when I was highly addicted to raiding in WoW I spent 35hrs a week in game...  thats 7 hrs for 5 days.  I think THAT is really too much for a person who also works 50 hrs a week.  

I see NO problem with an online gaming company imposing restrictions like 300 max hrs a month.  At that point your doing more harm than good with your life. 

this is for koreans only as they already have the same payment system for other mmos so its nothing new just stupid dumb people that just now heard about it old news

The 300 hours per month thing won't bother me one bit.  I never play that much anyways.  Usually when I'm working I barely get 1-2 hours a day during the weekdays so I'd be way under the limit anyways.

I'm fairly certain that if they imposed this limit on people without their knowledge 80% of them wouldn't even get to the point where the account locks out and tells them they've played for too much.  The only way they'd find out abou the limit is if the 20% of people who only play games and nothing else come to boards like this and whine about how they now have nothing to do because they ran out of time.

This whole thread is hypothetical. The initial OP started this thread to pose a Q and A to see what people would think "IF" such restrictions were placed in the western world, not "WHEN".

It's merely a civilized discussion about ethics, economics and politics. If you can't find it in yourself to read past the first three lines like you suggest, then perhaps you should see your way elsewhere. Don't argue that you're being level with anyone, you came here throwing stones at as many people as you could and it does not make you look more sophisticated than those you throw stones at, for your information. It makes you look worse.

Maybe you just don't have the ability to comprehend, so i'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I am not talking about the OP or the thread in general, I am talking about the people(most likely people such as your self) who come in and just read the first post thinking it is the word of god. They lack the ability to fully read a few simple posts and only base their judgement on a thread full of flaws and no facts.

Do you see where I am going with this or am I just wasting my time trying to explain something so simple, to a simple person?
