I agree with Avery. Many poeple here play more than one game. How dare you imply he's not playing WAR? Just look at his signature. It clearly says he's playing.. oh, wait..

If they laid of their CS reps that just means they don't expect their playerbase to recover. It's not something really suprising.

Also be ready for more layoffs. There is no way FC will be able to pay the salaries of 300+ employees AND take care of their debt with current AoC subscription numbers. I mean AoC is their main source on income.

There's a panic mode in FC headquarters as they pray for a Christmas miracle. Once they finally put DX10 in live, they might me able to get that 100k+ subs again, though I doubt King Conan will ever see another Christmas again.

The support staff was laid off because it makes sense. Why would you keep enough people to support a million on when you only have 150k playing?.

Source? I think your estimate is overly optimistic. Most people believe AoC has about 75-100k active subs.

You might be right, who knows? AoC might have 25k active players with 50k players playing twice a month waiting for that miracle patch which is never coming.

I really wish FC would tell us their numbers but I guess they have a good reason not to. I'm sure if they some day will be able to stop the decline, they will tell us those numbers.

Knowing sub numbers is not that big of a deal for us average gamers but it would be nice to know if a game I'm investing a lot of time to is dying.

Hate to brake the bubble, but AoC is at leaste + 190 000 according to forum posters in discussions where they talk about servers, servermerges and numbre de players. I only can speak for my server and it look to gaine players.

LOL sure it does! This game is lucky if 30k are still playing but to be fair I would estimate they still have 75k active subs - as all the people that were fooled and bought 6 month subs are still paying, I know I am.... Im paying but not playing... I just resub'd to wow and am in the process of reclaiming my old accounts, when that is completed Ill be getting the WOTLK exp pack. 

Im palying trial accounts right now and really having a good time... I forgot how polished WOW is.
