I think they're just terrified of seeing yet another clean sweep made by SOE/SWG. Last year they had to take them out of the running so that the other turds could have a chance of winning something! |

last i remember is one of the PR people at SOE posting in the MMOWTF thread and getting it locked and complaining about how the MMOWTF awards are bad, and mmorpg.com should stop the rewards, which they did. |

Well, I was going to suggest that there were other nominees like PotBS for poor marketing (the non-existant Spanish release?) but that was Platform Publishing (SOE)... |

Unless FC pulled and NGE with Conan I don't see how they could defeat the all conquering SOE. Smedley has a monopoly on the MMOWTF awards, and for the two years they existed even Farlan barely scraped in one award. You must admit if Farlan only got past SOE in one or two catagories by the skin of thier teeth, what chance does Funcom stand? I was an AoC Fanbois, until it was released and half the features were missing and siege combat was like an exclusive club. I left AoC many months ago burnt and bitter, however the game is still to good to be on the station pass! |
