DC Universe or Champions Online? which you more looking foward to? and why?
i give much props to city of villains cause its the first american mmo i ever seen to have good sound effects and sense of impact combat. sound hard and powerful like tekken and most asian mmo such as lineage2. so as Champions Online is from the same creator from City of Villains.. i expected for it to have great sound effect too and it is! i also like to see original unique made-up super hero/villain game that is not made after a well known movie and comics. which Champions Online is for me. melee attack in dc universe sounds funny.

I'm not into the superhero genre much but given a choice between the two I'd go with Champions simply because SoE is associated with DC. That means it'll likely be RMT based and have some ridiculous trading card game to go with it. |

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. |
DC Universe Online all the way. Once it goes live people are gonna say Champions Online who? and City of Heroes/Villians who? . I know I can't wait to fight along side the likes of Batman or The Joker, in places like Gotham City. The only game that could have rivaled DC, would have been the Marvel MMO that got axed. It would have been a hard choice for me, but without Marvel around. Its all about DC now and not some crappy knock-offs like Champions and City of Heroes/Villians. Well at least that my two cent, you can take it or leave it. |

To not conform is to conform; Always question orders and demand a reason, least you become a Nazi. |
Considering DC is being handled by one of Sony Online's studios, I'd say Champions online, there is always CoH/V eh. |

Good question. So far both look very interesting and promising. In the end the details may decide. I am all over the fence atm. |

Depends on the gameplay, and the customization aspects. From what I've seen I'd give the former to DC and the latter to Champions. I'm going to definately give them both a try. In the end it may come down to which one has the better roleplaying community. |

I think both games will be great to play, but... SOE is not someone you want to mess with, customer service does matter to me, so Champions will prolly be the choice for me. |

I'm a life long DC fanatic so DCUO will be my new home. However, I do plan to cap a char in Champions too and see how that goes. |

My guess is Champions since it will allow full blown hero customization, something important to that genre (superhero). I suspect both will have horrible pvp though, so I might pass on both unfortunately. When I see the vids from Champions it seems like they just standing still grinding all day long CoX style. So that vexes me greatly. DC Online might be much more grind adverse. Hm, major worries about both studios though its a coin flip. |

I'm definitively behind Champions Online here. I absolutely loved City of Heroes, and it appears that CO is going to be an evolution of everything that made CoH great. I'm not sure that I can trust DCUO to have all of those elements, and honestly, sacrificing that customization for the chance to team up with Superman isn't the sort of thing that's going to hook me. |
