I dunno what you're talking about WoW for, the original version of that game came out four years ago - and it still costs £8 in GAME (UK). On a slightly different note, I think what happened here was that Mythic under-estimated the importance which many MMO gamers place on PvE play and on quest solving. Sure, plenty of them want RvR and good PvP, but they want it set in a deep PvE game with plenty of worthwhile quests and meaningful character development. And they want the option to indulge in good PvP when they choose. PvE and quest solving is utterly irrelevant in WAR and I think that's what killed this game for a great many of its disappointed subscribers. |

Who did wrong? The advertiser hired to sell the game or the consumer who put faith in advertising? |

Your post is a contradiction of itself. Highlighted it to make it easier to point out. Like I said, if you weren't there. YOU have no way of know what condition it was in. First you say it's not possible for it to be broken. Then you turn around in next paragraph and say if it is broken. So which is it? If it wasn't possible for it to be broken. The blue text wouldn't even be necessary.
Well you are a regular sherlocke holmes aren't you? Why don't you re-read his post, because he said (highlighted in yellow) that Mythic's packaging made breakage impossible, but he then admitted it could have been broken in the shipping process. Which would indicate the need to call Games Workshop for help. Never try to win an argument by taking things out of context, especially if the full text is in your face. Reading comprehension ftw. |

Do you guys even read the posts in this thread? This miniature IS NOT BROKEN. You have to use glue to put it together. Its not chipped. You have to use a special type of glue that is for metals only ( i think it corrodes plastic iirc). I have put together more complicated minis that this, trust me mate. Your model is FINE. The reason the axe wasnt attached to the mini straight away is because its easier to be produced and takes less space in the tiny box that comes with it. My suggestion is that you go to a GW store and ask them for help if you want to assemble/paint it. (Then sell it for $$$ |

I think it's you that needs to read it again. Did he ever say how it was broken? Not really. The guy with the CE box merely stated that he opened it found figurine broken. Followed by post from at least 3 people saying "BS" and "not possible". Doesn't matter if it was broken before being boxed or even by the shipper. Fact of the matter is the guy found his figurine broken. What part of that don't you understand? |

10 weeks after launch ..... 10 dollars. Worst commercial launch ever if you need to empty the stocks like this. Tabula Rasa at 1 dollar after 14 months. While War makes it to 10 dollars after 2 months. The first already died. Xfire shows now the game has about 4400 Xfire players (on weekends !). At it highest point (800K accounts) it had 16000 XFire players. It has now 23 less western players than Wow. Both counts give now around 220K active players. With 20 % less, EA will shut down the servers. No doubting this: EA had 300 million dollars loss in its first fiscal quarter: their shareholders want cutting actions with the economy driving everything to the ground... Guess 3 times what will happen. Why do you think amazon.com clear out a new game now at 10 dollars? Hype is over. Game OVER. |
