You shouldn't worry mate. There is not other MMO out there that gives a better gear progress out there. So people who don't mind grinding will continue grinding for their gear in "the chronicles of Naxxramas IV".

note: I can't imagine a guild in WoW with 50 people like bodypass. They couldn't complete any dungeon because of telling each other "God has created the woman, then WoW, then the men to play WoW in their spare time" :)

Just listen to the outragious claims in this thread and maybe you can understand the disbelief a little bit.  A couple of die hard WoW haters talk non stop about how bad this game is and that it is dying blah blah blah.

Then, for reasons unknown, ran out to buy the expansion and defeated everything the game has to offer (or only have 1 boss fight left).  For people who cannot see any single positive quality in the game they are now claiming to play the game as hardcore as some of the worlds best and most dedicated players.

This whole thread is filled with so much BS it isn't even funny and then there are people like yourself who just want to toss out personal insults as if it somehow establishes your opinion of the game.

They're too busy ezmode facerolling the content, troll.

What a perfect illustration above

Anyone who comes in to this forum to explain their negative opinion of WoW is instantly bullied and called a troll and told to GTFO by the resident internet tough kids

Guess that says it all about the wow community :)

Kid huh?

30, college professor,  and I play WOW with my fiance who I will marry in a few weeks. I play in a guild where the average age of the 100+ members is probably 35 or older.

So I am a kid huh?

Tell ya what I think is childish - someone who obviously hates a game, comes to these forums and DAILY bashes this game but continues to play for a good 10 days since he first made a thread saying he was bored with the game. In the meantime, people ask this person why he continues to play a game he hates and he ignores their question.

This same person then goes on to insult the community.

Now, again, back to the original question that the person fails to answer:

Why are you continuing to play WOW if you are bored and hate the game?

And until you answer that question, you are a troll by definition: you repeatedly post negatively about a game that you obviously hate and have said for around 10 days that you are bored with; yet, you still post about how WOW and its community sucks.

So yes you are a troll and my recommendation is to go to the forums of the game you like (WAR) and post positive posts there. I do not play WAR and you do not see me going to the forums daily and creating threads about how it sucks. If you do something like that then it is immature and childish. So maybe the next time you call someone a kid, maybe you should take a long, hard look at your own posts and figure out who the truly immature poster is.

Gotta defend the WoW bashers a little here. I've been playing this game for a while, like a lot of you guys have most likely. Experienced a great deal of the end game material in both BC and beforehand. Ran roughly succesful arenas (5s) on Vengeance, going up to 2.203 in S2, skipped most of S3 and played S4 to a pretty weak 2005 (then stopped, seemed like no one played 2 months after the season started). Cleared everything but sunwell pvewise. To sum it up, i've "played" the game extensively and i've seen much (like most of you probably).

However, after getting right next to 75 on my mage, still in dblight, i realised: "what the **** am i doing, this is no different from the constant grinding tbc was". So i'll get 80 (halfway there), then i'll have to re-do it on my pally, then grind gear, chants and gems to get ready for both pve and arenas when they come out (think it's the 13th or 17th of Dec?). Then 4-5 months later at most, new season and new pve content, which means i'll repeat the same exact pattern, over and over.

Wrath is, in my humble opinion, a simplistic copycat of it's previous iteration.

PVP is becomming more and more unbalanced, end game communities have and are still suffering heavily from the excessive input of new players/classes that reach 80 (lvling has become so quick, everyone can just reach out the cap with new chars very easily, in addition to the new people reaching the said cap, it just became impossible to keep track of who's who, good, bad w/e. Makes the accountability part of the end game community simply void) and the speed at which the gear becomes obsolete is just not serious.

That is my opinion only and i would have a lot more negative things to say about wow. I do however have a lot to say about the positive features, but i won't go over them, since i feel like being an ass for now. I respec all of your positions in defense of the game and i'm glad you enjoy it and still plan on playing and kick it with your friends in there. On my part though, i just felt like wow finally reached it's meaningfulness' end. The game has been out long enough anyways and to me, just throwing new lvls to make up for lack of end game diversity is just painful.

P.S.: this game just is too easy now, i like my mmo with some of an elitist factoring, i don't like to see every kind of retard running around with op epics and content experience. No offense, and i hope you guys keep having fun. Feel free to flame me and sorry for the typos in there.

It has 11 million subs you have to like it. If you dont you are just part of the crazy minority that does not know any better. Wish I could say something else to defend the game but I cant so 11 million subs is all that needs to be said.

The new Xpac added so much new content and if you dont see that then you must be crazy. 10 more levels, 3 new raid dungeons that can be done on both normal AND heroic, flying mounts with different colors, level 80 equipment to replace your battle hardened level 70 stuff.
The list is huge and not to mention the deathknight which has 4 years of development behind it and also 1 zone with seige weapons you can move around.
Since you sound like a PVP kinda guy they even added a new BG for ya so now you will have 5 BG's to do in order to get your pre-pvp gear to get ready for the brand new Arena season 5 about to start soon.
Not to mention the Blizzard name is really what you are getting as they can do no wrong and even if you think they could just tell yourself 11 million subs that will silence you.

This is only the first time they have ever rushed a game out the door(due to holiday dollars and other games) but who cares its Blizzard <Mod edit> and you will not question it.
/sarcasm off  .........only 5 more levels before you get to " finally play the game" (again) You can do it!!

Playing- Lotro

You don't have to like it, you can like what ever you like, but you can't say it's a bad game, you can say you don't like it.
