Now, when WAR was in beta, I, as a european, joined the american ranks. I really enjoyed it. However, the people at europe, had a delayed open beta, no preview week, and now, Mythic charged an extra not-sure-of sum of money from their subscriebers. Something about a "automatic re-subscription if subscription wears it".

Also War-EU have a lot of population problems, no talking, etc, etc.

THIS IS NOT WAR, but I would like to know, if any fellow europeans, plan to game on US servers? I always played on the american servers and to be honest, I'd say its better. Timezones can be tricky, but thats a personal matter (if you got time, etc).

Only NCGame that I have played was Guildwars. Best MMOG of all times, loved the EU/AME server (FREE) transfer.

Will Aion have this?

If some people don't understand, I apologize. I have heard that when  I type, I always jump from point to point.

It will be Korea-favored if anything. We will probably always be a few months behind, due to them having to translate and whatnot. Asia is their main market, no doubt, but NC have said many times that they want the game to be a success in the west aswell. I dont think they will ignore us.

NCwest is for both EU/US and they will handle our release so I dont think there will be much difference. I have no idea if they will use the same types of servers or such, thats what Warhammer did wrong. GOA really did not handle EU well at all, and the EU servers in warhammer still sucks bad and our problems dont get fixed.

Also, EU has the best community guys who are active at fansites and hang out regularly at national fansites. Im not even sure there are any US community guys, it problably dont matter that much tho.

I dont think there will be any difference.

Dreamer, dream me a gift.

Kieron is the US community manager, but I haven't seen him around since the summer. Ayase is the EU manager and he's usually around. :)

Honestly the way things are going I'd rather play on the EU servers, but since both US and EU 'offices' are being brought together, I don't know how things will REALLY be handled.

It's kind of a wait and see thing right now for Aion and NCsoft in general, at least for me it is. I've lost some confidence in them lately, what with Rockjaw leaving first of all when they announced the office merge and now with Tabula Rasa shutting down..... Seriously I don't know what to think.

Best case scenario is we'll be able to pick EU or US servers whatever client we have.

Girlfriends come and go but Epic battles are Soulbound

I hope they do it like they did in korea. " You could pick your server and make 1 char two weeks before launch". That way all the servers were full with the same amount of people for both factions. And only add servers when needed.

To be honest with you, this game isn't being advertised at Gamestop, walmart, target, so? I think that the only place you can get this game is Amazon.com, so with that being said, with the low popularity on mmorpg.com, North America is not going to be this game's best bet

i am also concerned about lack of advertising of aion...its just 3-4 months till launch...3 months of advertising on strongest gaming sites should do the trick...but i dont see anything...

To early for advertising. One month before release sound about right. Anything sooner is a waste of money IMO.

To my knowladge they still haven't even announced a release date or even an OBT for NA / EU. So why would they advertise now?

If they have announced date then sorry about my comment, and I would be concerned about the lack of it as well.
