Maybe you should read the Acclaim site before you start making misleading statements.  Here is the quote from Acclaim:

The Spellborn game client will be completely free to download and install, and will feature the special Free to Play zone with no time restrictions (only level limit).

That is regarding the US release.  The US closed beta starts the same day as the launch of the game in the EU (excluding the UK), and the game will be released in the US by Acclaim with the same play model as the EU had.  This information is all freely available at this link on Acclaim's website:

http://spellborn.acclaim.com/

The UK, Australia, New Zealand and South America are territories that Acclaim is publishing the game in, so they will have the same schedule for beta and release as the US according to the link above.

Fucking ridiculous.

The US closed beta are still up, I think...

Anyways the combat system is pretty good. I am getting bored of the old EQ button smashing system every other game have.

It is a solid game but it ain't great, at least not yet.

You kill the Joe, you make some moe

Well I keep hearing the game is going to be "twitch" based and such and it just turns me off, I play singe player games for that.

Im more into an rpg, developing a character, earning and developing gear, raising skills and stats, stuff like in DDO, but it doesn't sound like this game is going that route.

Also it sounds like the game supports/caters to solo players, which just isn't my tastes at all, looking forward to group friendly games.

Dude, there are virtually hundreds of games like what you ask for. There are plenty of clones just a few clicks away.

Reading posts in this forums gave me some insights: primary schools should have their internet connections revoked.

It shouldn't be that hard to hype Spellborn, from their perspective.

1)Release screenshots regularly

2)Have a contest in beta to see who can come up with the best vid clip.  Winner gets released every month.

3)Do an interview with free online gaming sites once a month or so, giving updates, discussing features, etc.

4)Do sneaky stuff, like have pretend you are an nda breaker and anonymously leak cool stuff.  Or they could pretend they are a friend of a friend that works on the game, and release insider info...bla bla bla.

There are busy bodies fanboys around here that could have marketed their game for free better than they did.
