I ran across this a few weeks ago and it helped me out alot so I thought I would pass it along in hopes that it might help a few others.

Its only for Nvidia cards I believe...  boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith

I also came across that or something very similar a while ago & it definitely helped me for a while too.

After the last couple of patches though, scenarios seemed to start getting more laggy again & the new Reikland factory was a well rendered but thoroughly unplayable slideshow.

I finally resolved the issue by buying a new PC & now have no lag whatsoever. A bit drastic I know, but I had been meaning to upgrade for a while as my old machine was really starting to show it's age & had problems with several games despite upgrading it with a decent card & lots of Ram last year.  Probably the main issue was still being 'Single Core', but it could also have been the Nvidia 8800GTS card as the drivers allegedly cause performance issues in quite a few games.

My new rig is 'Vista 64 Quad Core' with an ATI card & so far I haven't had any issues at all. I still think that my old one should have been able to play it reasonably well, but it doesn't really matter anymore.

It's just as well MMOs are cheap though as I won't be able to afford to go 'out on the town' for a while.

If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"?
