WAR (Warhammer Online)

Because lots of people asked for it I made a new Poll so people could vote and discuss the game 2 months after the release. In this way you can see if the game is any better/worser after lots of patches and game changes....

Funny how the fanbois and naysayer both goes for the 1 and 10.  If you know a little about ratings you always cut the 1 and the 10, considering only what is inbetween. In this exemple, 8 is the right number.

edit: Good score imo,  reflect exactly what I think of the game.. even with its flaws.

Seriously, if any of you actually have a character in Tier4. Done some of the endgame dungeons, done any keep sieging..... ehh keep / BO farming on roulation and the horror that is called Fortress Sieging and thus experiencing all the zone / server crashing that takes place in Tier4.

Then that score would have been a lot lower.

Yeah in it's present state this game isn't any where near a 8.

Maybe a 5 but thats pushing it.

I would have to agree. I originally ranked it a 7, but now would have to rank it a generous 6 for said reasons as well as other issues I have with it. Still haven't given up on it though....then again I was given a gift card by somebody thinking I enjoyed the game. At least I will be able to see how the upcoming changes work out for myself.

I can only give it a 6 right now, it have the potential for a 9 but Mythic will have to work really hard to get there.

As someone said before, I can understand why people rate it 1 or 10 either, it is far from perfect or totaly unplayable. It have some really good features but they can use the lore better.

And the combat feels a litle slow for me, maybe it is since I'm use to Guildwars PvP but I would like them to speed up the combat 20% or so.

And while I like that they made the avatars to look a bit like minatures they could have better polygone count and used fog, lightning and shadows better. The art is quite good however, cept the elves. Animations could be better.

And put in wood elves and skavens please, high elves look a bit too wimpy to make anyone happy.

And I see why witchelves have to be female but most of the classes should not be sex specific..

Sadly, I disagree. I enjoy Warhammer and what it offers. I think you forget not everyone thinks like you. You may think were delirious, but maybe just maybe, we see the game as just that, a game. And therefore enjoy the entertainment and don't worry about the flaws. Maybe you haven't noticed, but every game has flaws. Some worse then others, but it brings me back to my first statement. It's just a game. Yes, im in t4 and its very entertaining for me. And on top of that my class is an engineer for the Order. Looking at that poll, you would delete the 1 and 10 value. Then you would take the the next two highest values which happen to be a 6 and a 8 and add them together and divide by 2. It basically equals out to a 7. I would give this game an 7.5-8 not only because I enjoy the game, but also because I respect Mythic and what they do for the MMORPG industry. The falws are what push the score back. But this game is not a failure. The only failure is people who take games way to seriously. They are not your lives, they are entertainment. If you do not enjoy it, move on. It's like going to a strip club only to find out its filled with fat chicks. Unless this suits your taste, you would just leave, wouldn't you? =)

Aye mate, I am using the same logic as the xfire argument.  If you say a small portion is no good you bet you are about to hear it.

I do have a toon in t4 but I don't play it anymore, rolling alts and more alts. Love my new squid herder.
