That equation doesnt make any sense.

Makes perfect sense.  EA started at least two sequels to UO, and canceled both of them before they were ever launched.  Hell, the first UO sequel, UO2, was even restarted from scratch once before it was scrapped.

Former SWG Player 2004-2007
Played-EVE, Saga Of Ryzom,Star Quest Online

We all know a UO2 by EA in this day and age just isnt going to happen ... if it doesnt have the indgredients of WOW in it they wont do it... It would have to be something dumbed down and appeal to the masses... like Harry Potter.... or something just as equally lame... it will be a themepark game, I know it you know it.... anything otherwise is a pipe dream.

So Say We All.... William Adama

For the number of times that SOE has destroyed the game I loved, even after it was very clear it was not what the majority wanted, I feel that they should start making donations to us- Paradox (SWG)

Sequels are the antithesis of persistent worlds.

I do remember a time long ago when EA games actually meant fun games, but when they started to move from Commodore games to PC the downfall started.

So fon't get your hopes up, it will probably be some kind of Everquest/Wow clone set in a licensed world.

My guesses are: Wheel of time, Game of thrones, Narnia, Some kind of D&D world (Dragonlance, Forgotten realms, Ravenloft) or maybe something from a movie (As someone above said, Harry potter is not unlikely).

To game developers, that is the persistence. They live in their own little level grind world.

Don't have sigs with a cheerleaders butt swinging in it, or the prudes in the Age of Conan forum section of mmorpg.com will demand the mods have it removed.

Have you ever played 40k? Warhammer and Warhammer:40k are different things. One is fantasy, the other sci-fi.
