I do somewhat agree with the original poster as I was expecting the game to get pushed back just like Burning Crusade did.  The balance is a bit off right now, but there is a ton of gear in the game.  I have bags full that I still have to sort through what to keep and what to get rid of to make free space.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. He is actually quite entertaining in a bemusing way. He's the type of guy you'd see standing in a town centre wearing a 'The End of the World is Nigh!' sandwich board.

Blah, the OP apparently skipped through the 70-80 quest content in a couple of days and jumped direclty into the end game instances and now feels dissappointed?  Surprise!   He skipped over some of the best WoW content they have ever had.  I took my time to work through the quest lines and I have really enjoyed the trip to 80 (and I'm usually the type to just power level to the cap).  These are some of the most enjoyable quests that I've seen in the MMORPG world.  The expansion would have been more than worth the money just for that - even if I were to never run an end game instance.  Anybody that simply rushs through to get to 80 is doing themselves a disservice.  It's going to be a long time before the next expansion - there's no hurry - enjoy the trip.  Save the power leveling for the alts.

I agree with the above.  Always amazes the me the people that rush to max level and miss SO much, and then bitch that there's no "content."  Some of these quests have been hands above any others....better stories, more interesting, quests you REALLY have to read carefully to figure out what you need to do, not so "led around by the nose" variety this time.

I haven't played any other MMOs that had me flying dragons that I had full control of to attack cities, driving tanks and crushing people, smashing down the walls of a fortress in a vehicle I'm actually DRIVING (not some stupid thing I click on the ground Warhammer style), picking up puppies for faction with a bunch of walrus-like npcs at war with the puppies' families...lol...baiting a huge fishing pole with shark meat to "catch" my prey, running to avoid getting killed by the BIGGEST mob I've ever seen in Zul'Drak who patrols the street and is SO enormous that his size compares to maybe the Empire State Building in RL measurement.   No other MMO has ever let me ride a mammoth and then use it to trample the npcs who were doing horrible things to the baby mammoths in revenge.  LOL  There are just a LOT of fun and adorable quests this time.

And crafting....yes, EQ2 had flying carpets first, but it's sure nice that I could make my own HERE.  Oh yeah, and being able to ride and make a motorcycle, well...that's just pretty fun. :)

And on profession drops....they're purchased now for mats, you know.  If you have enough enchanting mats to trade, or heavy borean leather, or w/e mats your skill uses, you can trade mats for more "recipes" of any profession.  Frankly...I like this.  It definitely keeps the guild arguments to a minimum on who is even ALLOWED to roll for "such and such" enchant, etc.  You get new recipes by WORKING for them, not being the lucky roll on some virtual dice.

I will agree with the OP, in part, on the armor skins.  However....in all honesty...I HATED the BC armors, and was among MANY that complained to Blizzard about looking like a freaking bag of Skittles all the time.  Come the hell on....armor should MATCH.  Is it really necessary to go around looking like a pile of puked up crayons?  Uhm no.  So, for myself, I PREFER the new armor skins.  I also like that when I upgrade gear, I'm not putting on a neon blue set of boots when the rest of my gear is leather and matching.   I know that not everyone cares about this, but a lot of people DO.

I also agree with the OP on....where are my new dances?  THIS, however, is a tiny thing that hasn't affected the game for me in ANY way even remotely.

With the very FEW minor "annoyances" there is much much more that I LIKE.  Granted, the fights in WotLK are easier than BC, but then again, I have 6 characters 70+ and a deathknight I left at 58, for now.  Out of those, I have managed to get TWO, so far, to 75.  I don't have a level 80 yet, so I haven't run the heroics, and therefore, I can't really judge ALL of the content, to be sure.  All of my characters are also 375+ crafters, so I have a lot to do, and have made no effort to RUSH THROUGH CONTENT to 80 without reading, exploring, doing every quest I can find, farming up mats for my professions, etc.  I can't "afford" to "rush to 80," there's too much else that I need and want to do.

I sub to three different MMOs, so I don't know that I qualify in the "fanboy" category (or fanGIRL, in my case), but I do know that I have played Blizzard games for many many years, and will probably continue to do so in the future....not because Blizzard is faultless, far from....but because I ENJOY their sense of humor, the little touches they add that NO ONE else does, etc.

So rant on....all those that "hate WoW" and "hate Blizzard."  I couldn't care less whether someone ELSE likes the games that I enjoy.  I pay for them because they are fun to ME.  If you don't like them....it certainly doesn't hurt ME.  I'm just grateful that I'm not one of the people that has to sit around another 2 years and wait on Darkfall.  LOL

THE ABOVE POST IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION. Duh.
Now Playing: WoW, EQ2, EVE. Presently in closed beta for two upcoming MMOs, really looking forward to The Agency, Runes of Magic, Aion and TCoS releases. Still debating a return to Vanguard. I also play FPS games, such as Unreal 3 and Painkiller, and some single player games like Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. I'm addicted.

well put and they have gotten fairly close tho they really should have made 25 mans in wrath much much harder to cater more towards the hardcore raiders.

I agree, also let me respond to the posted that had issues with bugs in his Tunrda endeavors. I to have done all 130 (plus some) quest in that zone. but I didn''t experience any of the bugs that you did. I will however say that my framerate was down a bit from previous experiences. But don't get lag (data streaming issue) and framerate (PC issues) mixed up. I play on a older PC in my living room that serves as the hub for online connections in my house. My wife's PC (in our bedroom) is considerable more powerful, but has a wireless connection. I have issues when I get in high risk situations like spell effects and Dalaaran. Where she does not (she did d/c once in a Nexus group with me but none of the others including myself did).

Each expansion will suffer from bugs from time to time as testers on the test servers cannot and will not catch every little issue.

I know the different between lag and framerate. Like I also mentioned all 5 of us noticed and had issues, not just me. if it had just been me, then yeah, my connection or my comp was throwing a fit, but the fact it affected all 5 of us and it wasn't hitting two of us before we went in (sorry, new detail there) kinda makes me believe there is something on WOW's side of it with Nexas in particular.

Now for the mission bugs. One bug is simple coding. You probably did not encounter it because you were not mounted or shapechanged (I was in Shaman wolf form for short runs since it's instant change) and unless you did it as I did it (mounted or shape changed) you would not get the bug. To me, it's simple missed coding because they have prevented this problem before in the past (The two daily bombing run missions in TBC for example) and simply missed adding that coding. It was aggervated by the fact it took longer than normal to reset.

The second one has a list of issues at one of the mission sites of how it is bugged and reasons for it. (guildmate looked it up for me) I followed the corrections for it and it worked. You may have done it naturally, who knows. The fact I repeated the problem twice means it wasn't a "one time thing" but a repeatable issue. Again aggervated by the time factor from a casual player's perspective.

All I am trying to illistrate is that they definitly got the "kill missions" or the "run missions" down fine. 95% of the missions in the area are their basic type of missions they coded several thousand times in the past. The two missions that break with the normal mission structure out of I think 6 in the area, had issues for me. (The 2 "Warmachine" missions worked ok (Dusk and the Mammoth one) and the parachute one worked even though I had bad timing, heh. The murloc suit one worked fine as well, but that is an older mission type just not widely used) I am just noting in the past, even when they did a new "mission type" that had new mechanics in the past, they tended to work. Here I noticed a few more that didn't than compared to the past. I will also note the respawn rates are getting much faster in certain areas, to the point where I finally deal with one set and the first ones I killed are already respawning. Had a heck of a time in the mech-gnome tower area because of it.

To the topic of the post, the fact this expansion seems to have a slight (and I do mean slight) lower quality to it than I have seen before is due to alot of things, both internal or external. I just tried to be specific with my examples instead of making generalizations. Not all experiences are the same, or played the same.

Well, have a good day and enjoy the game.

I used to love WoW, it was the game that hooked me on mmorpgs. I raided the original Naxx and had a priest and a tankadin in TBC.

But OMG the new expansion is so easy. We do normal instances in 15 to 18 mins with my tankadin (20 mins or more is consired slow). I mean come on, did they really have to make the game so easy? MY friend also playes a paladin (holy) and he got he PUGGED 10 man Naxx, getting 2 drops (they cleared spider wing no probs and moved to abomination wing). He dinged in 10 days, went to wintergrasp, took the fort, killed the 10 man boss, and got a gladiator chestpiece... again with a pug.

What happened to good old challenging PvE? Instances are so small, have nearly zero trash and most bosses are reharshed. Most heroics are laughable for a decent group. I am not asking for "hardcore" difficulty, but I still think that UBRS and Blackrock Depths were both challenging and fun (and huge, size does matter :P). At this pace I dont think the content in the expansion is enough to keep players interested.

So I am somewhat dissapointed. This time it seems EVERYTHING trully will revolve around arenas I am afraid.

ha don't know what your talking about the only runs that take that short of time are non heroics though the wintergrasp boss is a joke. However, its insanely hard for a pug to full clear naxx and impossible on heroic. Arena's will always be teh joke of WoW they really just too easy and only certain makeups have a chance of working.

That being said i can tell you that ive completed avery loremaster achievement for every zone on the expansion, except for icecrown wich i am still questing, so dont say i jumped directly into 80, thats not true.

Well you said this in your OP

"I stopped going to instances because every boss drops 3 items, lol, 3 items, using the same skins as every quest rewarded item. As soon as I reach lvl 80 ppl start raiding, and who would have known, we clean naxx on the first week, its too damn easy....I wonder, its this what Blizzard can do in 2 FULL years developing?"

Maybe I'm confused by what you wrote, but how did you complete Naxx in the first week of the game if you only reached 80 2 days ago?  Also, are you really that concerned about what dance moves are in the game - or what the armor skins look like on disposable blue items?  I'm happy to wear a pink dress with green ruffles if it has better stats.  Then again, I guess I come from a time when game makers focused a lot more on content than they did on shinny graphics.

Also, at 2-3 hours a day, you've already played 40-60 hours since release.  That's already way more content than most xbox 360 and PS3 full games that people happily pay $65 for.

Just reread this post and see HOW much trolling these guys do these days in trying to destroy such a great game.

The OP is caught up within his own lies. Pants hanging down on his feet.

Of course we're not always that lucky to uncover it all. But I guess he'll just stay posting, with filth and easy lies just like those other guys, G and X and alts.

But what can you do with a website where the chief editor says he loves Warhammer and sees no problem in posting it even on his own website.

NO other MMORPG comes even close to the story telling, PVE, PVP, crafting of WotLK. The WotLK music alone is a milestone in this genre.

I smile when people say they get the achievements of WotLK within 3 weeks of playing. Not even in 6 months will all the achievements of PVE (let alone PvP) be conquered by as many as a handfull no lifers that play the game 20 hours a day. Try battle master :)))

I too regret the sorry state the competition is in. Their clunky movements, their laggy gameplay, their technics used of yesteryesterday to cash in on the same money. The fact that these kind of games even find some supporters to shit on thisgame on our forum shows how good WotLK really is.
