It's my longest break since I started playing the game. I told myself I'd quit for good, but it's calling to me....

What would I do?

I have 12mil sp Amarrian who can fly

  • amarr and caldari frigates, cruisers, and battleships
  • amarrian AF, HACs
  • Hulks

Everytime I play I end up finding myself not quite having as much fun as I'd thought I would. I've tried pirating, empire wars, mining all day, fleet battles...

what are you doing that's so much fun? What do you typically fly around in. What's your corporation like?

Keeper of

Set a goal.

In my corp, The House of Marek, we are a roleplaying corp that focuses on the Ammatar faction and works around those aspects.  Aside from roleplaying (which really is our bread and butter) we have tried to be everything but found for a small corp that it was far to difficult to accomplish anything that way.  We have just recently revitalized our operations and have begun to focus on one singular aspect.  We set a goal.

The biggest thing I could suggest for you is to set a goal, whether that be to corner a certain trade market, open up a courier service, build and sustain a POS.  EVE is more about the planning aspects, more so than pure action. It's possible that in the end EVE may not be the MMO for you.  It really caters to a certain market, and if you can find your niche within EVE your golden.

Set a goal, accomplish it... then set another.

Don''t like what I wrote? then don''t read it

ok I am a newer player, but its true you really do need something to aim for, a goal... nothing more to say than that as dont have much experience to be more specific

shhh... you might wake the trolls

I tried running my own corporation once, but I sort of recruited a bunch of clingy squeaky voiced people and it didn't work out. It was pretty funny though...

Maybe I could help someone else with their goal. That could be my goal.

"In EVE, no one gives a damn about a fair fight." - chafin

I'm part of a relatively new alliance (7 mo old) that is trying to grow to the point that we can move out into 0.0 space on our own, w/o having to join up with an existing 0.0 alliance.

I personally spend a lot of time recruiting while others build up our production and war fighting capabilities.

People seem to enjoy wardeccing us which is fine, since we love taking the fight to the aggressors.

I mission run when I can, PVP when I must, participate in our training classes and tourneys.

Sort of run of the mill I suppose, but it makes me happy.

What do I fly, lots of stuff, BS's, HAC's, SB's, and BC'ers.....

I can't give away my account.

No matter how long I haven't played, there is always one rule.
