Well... looks like I stumbled upon a WoW forum clone. Guess it was too much to ask for some friendly, mature banter between the top 2 ranked games on this site. The responces in other threads made me think otherwise but I guess I was mistaken.

Oh so unless im here to post about how awesome Vanguard is, im being negative and im unwelcome? I come to start some friendly bantering and get flamed by an upset WoW player and told im unwelcome cause im being negative... Well your all welcome to stop by the Eve forums and have a chat. We wont flame you or try to run you off because you dont post how uber and awesome Eve is.

Hey Big Dave, welcome! Nevermind the annoying gnats. So, you're an Eve fan eh? Cool; I played eve for seven months. My buddy got me into it and still sings its praises. It's a cool game, yah. But it's also a PvP game so we have two completely different crowds (PvP versus PVE) competing for top ratings spot. Now, I'd say PvP types more passionately love their PvP than the PvE crowds love their PvE. So I'd expect EVE to have a higher rating. Wait, did what I just say make any sense? Nevermind :) Again, welcome! |

I like to take breaks from time to time away from Eve because of that reason and go play fantasy based MMOs for the PvE cause thats what I like in them. My latests were Guild Wars and WoW.
