Wonderful, Another gazillion gig of code on players hard drives that they don't have a choice of loading....Just like the LoN crap you keep pushing down their throats...What's next? forced streaming video from every guild member's perspective?
Yeah I know I don't have to use it if I don't want to...but will SOE give the players the ability to uninstall it or NOT TO INSTALL IT in the first place? Do they ever think about their players at all or are they SO busy trying to make coin that they can think of nothing else?
The population is leaving in DROVES because other games have caught the attention of your players....YOU don't even make a half hearted attempt at keeping them, the game still has bugs that have been there since the release of DoF....There are incomplete zones and content that was promised and never delivered and you go and code a VOIP program like it's the best thing since sliced bread....Ever heard of Ventillo? TeamSpeak? SKYPE? they already exist and if your history shows us anything the SOE version will probably be so buggy (or cubersome) thet few if any will want to use it.... Go ahead click the link to the comments from TEST SERVER players....the thread on the official forums has been REMOVED...because from what I hear this VOIP sucks so badly not even the test server players will use it...all 25 of them decided it SUCKED
OR>>>>>>>>>>>>it will eat into your bandwidth so badly the in game lag will make EQ2 unplayable....Once again not thinking with anything but your wallets are you SOE????
Fanboyz and SOE bootlickers neeed not respond... |

Btw not all of their patches are mandatory, they do have you know optional patches. I have not tried this patch yet, so I don't know if this falls under optional or not. |

So you are OK with SOE developing something that already exists instead of more content to fend off the mas exodus that AoC has brought on, or at very least fixing broken content and completing content that was promised but not delivered....I guess people will always think SOE can do no wrong.... The only patches that I know of that have been voluntary are voice overs and sound content. My Ventrillo client is a little over 3.5 meg....let's see how big their in game VOIP program is.... They forced us to download LoN which is a huge add-on. They gave us no option and they loaded it on our hard drives without permission...if you want to play EQ2 you have to have LoN content on your drive....wether you play it or not is irrelevant....Once again thinking with their wallets instead addressing concerns of their players... |

Please please stop. If you have a problem, take it directly to the devs and leave this thread alone so we can actually talk about the update instead of hear more complaining.
Thank you. |
