So you claim this guy is a a cartoon version of a fanboy and how he is becoming a joke and then proceed to back it up with classic fanboy examples of your own making about Turbine. I mean, c'mon: 'stellar release, if you don't think Turbine is miles ahead of Funcom then you are irrational and  conclude with extolling the staff virtues for getting some overtime.....talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
In addition, both you and jackdog, who do not play AoC have come to this forum, both of you saying little more than 'Funcom Sucks, Turbine rocks'. For what purpose? Agitation is the only 'rational' conclusion. Yet again, an archetype example of fanboy behavior.
If Avery is becoming a joke, your post is the punchline.

At least Jackdog speaks the truth. Fanboys of AOC like Avery do nothing but mislead people with lies. Why does he always keeps quiet when some valid questions are put forward? if you have something against Turbine than atleast be frank about it. Put forward your arguments and lets see how much they weigh against the crap that Funcom is.

My opinion of either of those companies was completely irrelevant to my post.

My post was about hypocracy and fanboy labelling. Jackdog and Die_Scream both exhibit classic Turbine Fanboy behavior with their posts in the AoC forum. Try some reading comprehension.

If you want my opinion on this matter here it is:

Funcom has made some major misteps in regards to this game. Time will tell if they can repair it. I won't play it until then, or maybe never again.

To elevate it to some sort of 'evil' however, in my opinion, is classic troll behavior.

Turbine had a nice smooth launch and put out a solid game. I like the game for the most part. I have an active subscription.

To elevate it to 'stellar' or call Turbine 'miles ahead of X company' in my opinion, is classic fanboi behavior.

Don't feel so smug. Y'know sometimes you can like the same game as another poster but still be sickened by their posting behavior. And next time, try to read what I said instead of  assuming a motive which isn't there.

First of all I was not calling you a tool, it was in reference to the posters on the thread I quoted in the original post. The tool comment was more in agreement with Cymdai's post more than anything else.

check my posting history. On this login it goes back to EQII beta. I had another one prior that I used to post on the SWG and DAoC and Horizon boards with with but I changed ISP's and forgot the password and had to make Jackdog. At various times I was a big fan of each of those games also. My motives are simple. I have been playing various MMOrPg's since my mudding days starting with MUME . I enjoy the game design theory almost as much as the actual play. I helped out on a MUD known as Sundred Realms back in the early 90's designing and coding areas and just falt out enjoy every thing about the genre.

Now if everyone is finished with the my game is better than your game Bull$hit. I still stand by my comments that Funcom did a crap job with the PvP rules and is doing even a crappier job with the moderation and GM department. Anyone want to discuss that or should we just start a my game can beat up your game thread ?

Maybe you need to understand that there are many players who don't commit any kind of allegiance to a particular mmo. I am one of them. I play each and every game out there and i post on each and every forum. Comparisons are made. Good and bad are put forward where other games are taken as examples.So you are telling me a lotr fan can't post on any other forum? really? but a AOC fanboy has every right to post lies and misleading bullshit because he is on the right forum? sorry but you make no sense.
